If you are waiting for Melton and his clowns to find it, it will never be found!

Well seems like another publicity stunt to me. Let's see, in the last couple of years they've started haunted ghost tours, and had the turtleman come do a show ..now this. It's probably under lock and key somewhere. Making something more rare just drives up the price they stand to make way more off of each bottle now (look at the price of ammo). Every time I've been there the security guard is on point. So it screams to the fact that it was an inside job, or its still there...

t screams to the fact that it'd an inside job alright. Word is it was traded to a corrupt deputy to not arrest an employee for drug charges. Why does this not surprise me. Oh, because the fatman can't figure it out with a huge reward, or can he and still covering for his and Matts partnership in crime!

Like I said this whiskey has been gone for years! They haven't been doing inventory correctly there for years! I worked there and there was what they call sugar barrels. And anyone that drank would go drink from the sugar barrel . They never kept up with anything properly. They missed it an reported it but it actual was taken in 2000-2005. Anywhere in that time period! And I called back then when I saw a half of a law mower shed piled up with it.

There is no doubt theres been millions of dollars of liquor stolen from the distillery by employees over the last 30+ years, but I must disagree with you comeonnow. There is no way all of the pappy could have been take before January 2013. Sazerac was investigated by the federal government and there were only a couple minor glitches in the paper work. There were no big Pappy losses when the paperwork was compared to the logged inventory. Let's say for a moment the bourbon was missing back then, The only way that could have been covered is if the person in charge of inventory and the person that takes care of the feds paperwork were both in on it. Sorry if I burst your bubble.

Regardless I saw many cases of liquor so somebody's paper work was wrong back then and it was never reported . So if it was covered up on purpose all these yrs an just like all numbers some way someday the numbers won't match . So it is possible . They always find the mistakes or bad paper work. It's in the numbers son!

And with Melton's posse an all his rats if it happened when they say it did big poppa would have already arrested someone!
