The book of Mormon is more correct than the Bible.

After you become a good Mormon, you have the potential of becoming a god.

Does Mitt think he is a god is why he is telling so many lies to get elected.

Did anyone read the info on the doctrine of the Mormon Church. Once you feast your eyes on that. you will not be voting for Mitt Romney for President or any other office he will run for. Never again, you can take that to the back.

Kennedy was a Catholic as is Joe Biden which riled quite a few. Nixon was a Quaker which are supposed to be pacifist, many other presidents were Baptist which is what many KKK/segrenationists were so what is your shallow narrow minded point? IF you have a valid point.

MITT WAS QUOTED RIGHT ON NATIONAL NEWS,
WHEN ASKED ABOUT HOW MUCH TAXES HE PAYS,
HE RESPONDED BY SAYING,
"THATS BETWEEN ME AND MY GOD"
SURPRISINGLY, HE SAID THIS, INSTEAD OF JUST
SAYING "THATS BETWEEN ME AN GOD".
I BELIEVE HE THINKS HE HAS HIS OWN GOD.
TRUE, HE SAID,
"THATS BETWEEN ME AND MY GOD".
TO ME, THIS SHOWS HE OWNS GOD.

I guess that I miss your point (if you have one) because the Baptists, Catholics, Jews, Muslims, etc each profess A god that is akin to none other. That is called FAITH ! Protected by the FIRST admendment. Even Christians have numerous 'bibles' & consquently speak of somewhat different gods/salvation/after life.
According to any bible that I am aware of, Jesus said, "render no Ceasar what is Ceasars..." so where is the real conflict?

Pops we aren't talking about God or the Bible. My point is the doctrines that are kept secret from the public, much as taxes and how you vote behind the curtain, or for that matter how your Will is written.

Pops there are some that are just a lttle stupid, a person like you don't get the point, because you are too damn lazy to read and get the point.

Now you may be one with no religion, no smarts, no nothing up there
called a brain to figure out anything. And if it doesn't make sense
to you, you are going to be critical, it might not matter a damn to you. You might like to argue.

The doctrines of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormons) are very interesting. Most of the 'odd' ones are not initially taught to potential converts. But they should be. Instead, "they are revealed later as one matures and gains the ability to accept them." The LDS Church tries to make its official doctrines appear Christian but what underlies those Christian sounding terms is far from Christian in meaning.

Pops if you are one that can read, and you are smart. Why don't you read and report back what you find and drop a line or two, let's see what you have or don't have?

http://carm.org/teachings-of-mormonism

Will this be to difficult a task for you to get to the point?

I guess you have no knowledge of Christianity, We all refer to God, as 'my God' and Jesus as 'my savior.' I am Methodist, attend a Babtist church and am married to a Catholic man. We all have the same God and He is also our personal, individually, God.

Our God is all empowered and sees all of us. The Bible verse is "His eye is on the sparrow so I know he watches me." Our God knows when a sparrow falls and when world leaders misguide and when I feel hatred in my heart.

Now, Catholic, Methodist, Jewish, Baptist, Espiscopalian, Mormon, Quaker, Amish and others, who have the same God, there may be tiny differences in our we practive our faith, but we all worship the same God and we are all working to get to the same place.

I have no problem with those who worship Allah or Budda. I can be friends with them. I'm sur ethey are a true in their beliefs as I am in mine. But should they ask, I am ready to tell them about my God, His love, forgiveness and, also, His anger.

My God knows the truth about what occured in Benghazi. We do not yet, but I believe HE will shed light on the entire action.

If all you have to attack Romney on is that he is a Mormon, you better start talking about Obama's record. Because Obama and Michelle rarely attend any church and when he say "God bless America", the words seem to make him grimace.

No election is won or lost on religious beliefs. People thought that John Kennedy would never be elected because he was Catholic. Truly.

God always has a purpose, we just are not privy to how He is working.

2Thessalonians 2:4 says that HE WILL EXALT HIMSELF AS GOD

Only one religion in the world claims that a man can become a god.

A vote for Romney is a vote for the anti-Christ.

For the love of God, don't send us back to a sinking America by voting in Romney. I'm begging you. It's all up to Ohio. We will move enough natural gas plants into Ohio that they will never miss coal.

Dr. Charles Stanley is an esteemed theologian. The First Baptist Church in Atlanta, GA is honored to have him as their pastor. He has the blessed ability to answer the questions we all have about life. So it would behove everyone who questions the Mormon church to go to www.intouch.com and listen to the 10-28-12 sermon. Mitt Romney is the only choice we have to fight this anti-christian force that has influenced our schools and courts. What Christian would sit in front of a minister who shouted the Lord's name in vain from the pulpit?
20 years of foul language from the pulpit. Obama did.

Elections are always won on supposed religious beliefs. Madam, people turned a blind eye to another man who attended church and spoke of God's will for his global plans. Because he made the trains run on time and gave them clean streets they said he was a great leader and God did not interfere. It was only until men imposed their will on world events that this man's plan to exterminate an entire race was ended.

I believe in tolerance of other religions as long as no one living or dead is harmed. Tolerance of others was taught and practiced by Jesus but even Jesus knew when to tell Satan (the father of lies)to stand behind him and not to lead the way. If your husband is a practicing Catholic he is aware of the Mormon practice of baptizing the dead into the Mormon faith by proxy. They do this because they believe all other religions are false religions and to be saved one must be baptized Mormon. It also gives a false air of legitimacy to their religion when they have famous names listed in the Mormon baptismal archives, like Ann Frank who was baptized twice against the will of Holocaust Survivor organizations. This is being done in the present not 20 or 30 years ago.

Furious Jewish organizations have demanded the Mormon church stop baptizing Holocaust survivors, like Ann Frank.
*"I am a Holocaust survivor. It is so offensive in the sense that Holocaust victims were killed solely because they were Jews. And here comes the Mormon church taking away their Jewishness," said Abraham H. Foxman, national director of the Anti-Defamation League. "It's like killing them twice."

http://www.globalpost.com/dispatch/news/regio...

*The Vatican has already taken action to end the practice of baptizing Catholics by proxy. In an effort to block posthumous rebaptisms by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Catholic dioceses throughout the world have been directed by the Vatican not to give information in parish registers to the Mormons' Genealogical Society of Utah.

A very interesting post. I knew & know of thebaptism by proxy & have this to say; Except for the baptism by proxy, MANY 'churches' believe that they are 'The only' way to heaven, which is at least vain & conesending which turns me off, but the is, it makes NO difference if another does NOT gives credence to such a ceramony. As I see it, They can NOT 'highjack' a persons soul in such a way. IF it makes them feel better then no one else should really care.
IF someone believes in astrology & you don't, who really cares? IF someone believes in purgatory but you don't, who cares? IF one believes in reincarnation but you don't, what difference does it make? Then there is ceremonial confessions or the euchrist, if you don't believe in either one, what difference does it make? I say, Ignore them on that issue. To do otherwise lends validity to something that non-Mormans do not believe in. Then doing so is nearly as inappropriate.

I wouldn't approve of baptism by proxy by any religion. It matters to the descendants of those who have been Baptized against their own free will. It is in fact falsifying a fragment of historic record of a person's life. We have enough people who are revising history as I type this.

In future generations, I'm sure you will be just as tolerant if say, a Satanist organization or even a Hate Church like Westboro lists you in their archives when in fact you had no part of their church or faith. Imagine if every fly by night church increased it's membership this way via the dead who can't protest. The dead may not care, their souls may be untouched by our deceptions on earth but what we are doing to the truth and historic fact would cost extra at any house of prostitution. We are blurring truth and lies to the point, that in time, no one will be able to tell the difference.

Maybe those that write 'ding dong' are avoiding Typing denegrating, crude, insulting low IQ words that often frequent these sort of posts.
However, insults can be a little imaginative w/o foul words. Example being: Those that use insults to present a supposed argument, often have a low 2 digit IQ.

I feel the need to comment on some of the things "Obama 2012 has said.

"Obama 2012" said,

"Pops we aren't talking about God or the Bible. My point is the doctrines that are kept secret from the public"

Do you mean -- sorta like a president who refuses to release his most basic personal info -- to keep us from learning who he really is? a lifelong muslim perhaps?

"Obama 2012" also said,

"Pops there are some that are just a lttle stupid, a person like you don't get the point, because you are too damn lazy to read and get the point."

This same person, this "Obama 2012" has a history of trying to intimidate people she claims to be debating by attacking their intelligence, etc.

She once claimed to be the smartest person on Topix (on Warsaw, Ky Topix) claimed no one was smart enough to debate her. I think we all can see that her claim isn't true.

An intelligent person doesn't need to brag on themself nor call others intelligence into question. If a person is truly intelligent, it will show, they don't need to boast and tell others.

If they are smart and correct in their conclusions, the logic of their arguments will persuade other people.

On the subject of Romney being a Morman --

I personnally prefer a Mormon to someone that I -- and many of my fellow voters -- suspect of being a Muslim.

I think it troubled a lot of us when he went to the middle east and proceded to blame America, apologize for America, and bow low before some of the most evil Muslim dictators in the world.

Even if he isn't a Muslim, he obviously has a lot of views that are not based in mainstream American values. It wouldn't be much of a strech to say, "He isn't one of us".

Barack Obama has a host of friends that are very troubling to most of us, too; the Reverend Wright, Bill Ayers, and Louis Farrakhan and others.

So, "Obama 2012", if you plan to trash my guy, you might ought to expect me to tell the truth about your man, too.
