I decided to do a taste test between Jerri-Lynn, Shipleys, Kroger, and WalMart by trying two each of their regular donuts, chocolate, caramel, cinnamon, and cream filled, and can unequivocally say the the best one is fr ... hey, why is my foot numb?

Why do we have to compare the two. They are both very good in their own way. Shipley's has both cake and yeast donuts. They also have bear claws, cinnamon twists, a variety of frosted cake donuts such as maple, coconut, sprinkles of course chocolate and theyhave chocolate glazed. They also have breakfast croissants and Kolaches, the cream cheese ones are so yummy. They also have a variety of filled donuts. The jelly filled ones are really so good. Like others have said, Shipley's is on my way to work, they have a drive thru and the prices aren't bad, so I will be going by there. If I woked inthe other direction, I would stop by JeriLyns.

EXACTLY--!!! I was talking about those cheese kolaches & calling them danish (lol).... that's what that man called them when I asked about em'. They are so good :-) I tried one of their Bacon,Egg & Cheese Croissants & even though it is $2.99 it was worth it. Beats the hell out of Sonic, McDonald's & almost Hardee's. I still go by Hardee's b/c their breakfast is good & the coupons make it better- lol

The ONLY time Krispy Kreme donuts are good is when the Light is on.... The Hot Red Light to advertise the donuts are fresh & hot. This is one donut company that rarely ever advertises but they must be losing business for them to branch out & put them in Walmarts & Kroger's-??? I still vote for Shipley's b/c they are fresh everyday.:-)

The food is good glad we have another choice. We could use a few more new buildings with new businesses in them.

Shipleys is not that good. Their donuts remind me of Walmart donuts. Their donuts taste weird. Causbies in Kennett has the best donuts and cookies. As usual, foreigners are running the place and they don't understand or speak
English too well. I will not bother going there again.

never get my order wrong. At lease they are nice and act like they appreciate your business. Sure the heck can't say that about boss lady at Jeri's. she has always been rude

The food is average but they have screwed up my order several times already. You really have to check and make sure you get what you ordered. The main problem is their lack of ability to understand basic English. So frustrating.
