I don't have to be a family member to defend him. You must be one of the jealous OTHER COLOR that wish we had the last bull crap mayor. I never seen anything about him and i know for a fact he never did anything. Besides every black man that has money does not gamble or sale drugs, but i guess you never heard of anyone being blessed and highly favored!

Why is this about color? Why do you assume that white people are on one side and black people on the other. I would never refer to someone who has a different opinion than mine as OTHER COLOR.

i cant say i want the old mayor back but he's does need to take care of some things that need to be taken care of...keep the water clean

i have lived here for 35 years and I have never seen the water as bad as it is now. The mayor needs to do something about it ASAP. People are going to get really sick or die from it. He needs to do something about the city workers they are not doing their jobs there is trash all over town that needs to be picked up. I am ashamed for anyone to come to my house from out of town and see how filthy Lux has got. They only pick up what they want to. I would like to know why we are paying a water bill and trash bill? The mayor needs to drive around town in his new constable truck and take a good look around. I am looking into what can be done about all of this.

Yes I"d like to know what the the heck is wrong with the water? can't drink it can't wash my white cloths what are yall doing with it ? Toilet cant keep them clean with bleach tablets in the tank.IT looks like straight from the river. We had this kind of water many years ago Why are we putting up with it now???Next city council meeting I'LL be there.

OMG color is the problem here....ya'll wasn't on here writing shit about the last mayor but when the new one cum's ya'll want to say he aint doin this and dat rite,,then say he gamble ya'l didn't say dat about the last mayor who sat up in domino place!!! at least he is tryin all just have give him time..he has got so grants for luxora then anyother mayor i kno...ya'll need to go to his face with the problems and see wat he tell you.. by puttin dis MESS on here you makin our town look bad...

(da)the town already looks really bad without my help. trash is in piles all over town just take a look around trash being dumped behind the levee just plain nasty.

There are many items that we may not agree to concerning the mayor. I do not think of it as a black or white thing. If we the citizens only knew the hassels that the mayor gets for trying to do the right thing, all would know and feel very different about what they see and how they feel about the mayor. Lets all set our pettie differences aside and pray for him and pray that we vote and get the bad seeds out and make Luxora a better region to live in.
