There seems to be a constant disregard being displayed by Fsu toasted it's neighbors.

First there is the blue light on cedar st.

The lack of effort to clean the graffiti off of the university dorm building. This depiction of a gun has been there for all to see for the entire semester now.

Then the university spends money on planting signs in front of the grafitti that reads keep dogs off the grass.

The university allows it's students to party till early morning hours with absolutely zero regards for the neighbors. This is irresponsible , negligent and disrespectful as it makes them responsible for not addressing the problem.

There is broken glass throughout the neighborhood . A neighbors dog cut his paw on this glass as the cost to treat the paw and infection from the wound was 450 dollars.

This total disregard for it's neighbors should fall on antonuccis shoulders.

I have proposed many times for arrest to be made of these students who party while disturbing the peace. As a punishment these students should be made to clean the broken glass.

There has been no discussions in this regard as the universitys spokes person/ laison states that there are no issues.

This is insult to injury. I encourage citizens to contact the mayors office if you have unresolved issues with the university.

The university has A COMPLETE disregard for it's neighbors. We need to stand together to change this situation.

Yes we understand that college students party but this situation is completely out of control.

The university has failed concerning community relations. Our reps have completely ignored the citizens of Fitchburg regarding this situation.

A drunken student was deemed responsible for one of fitchburgs worst fires. Our firefighters fought this fire bravely in the frigid conditions as all were covered in sout from the fire.

Then directly across the street students had fires every weekend regardless of how windy it was as the Fsu police drove past.

One fire they burnt a full couch and the Fsu police just drove past. I have seen other fires blowing sidewards as wind gusts flames and sparks at other houses and students around these fires.

The broken glass is so bad. Yes the neighbors sweep it up and clean the streets when the students leave.

The Fsu liaison should be first held accountable and the president. This is what is allowed to take place.

The allowance of these students to drink and drive is also a tragic situation setting up. Students cars continue to show dents from drinking accidents . When is it going to stop???

Is this liason waiting for a deadly car accident, a deadly fire or a deadly drunken fight to take place before interveening??

What is so hard to understand? They don't want your dogs on their property. I wouldn't want your dogs peeing or crapping on my lawn either.

The truth of the matter is it's sad that students have to put broken glass and no dogs allowed signs on their property to try and deter convicted criminals from stalking them and checking them out with binoculars.

You have a hard-onb for FSU ever since they fired your brother, we get it. What do you hope to accomplish by bringing this story here where you have zero supporters?
And that neighborhood would be a dump even if the students didn't liver there. The people in that area don't care, sure there may be a few, but renters, especially renters with govt. assistance, don't give a darn about the property they rent or the area around them. Don't believe me, drive through lower Cleghorn and look at the rubbish on the sides of the street. Take a look at the broken glass in the roads in lower Cleghorn. Is that from the FSU student renters or from the low-lifes who live there and don't care?
Wrong! I have been blogging and writing the mayor and the city council in regards to Fsu before my brother was fired.
I have also and will always give credit to Fsu also as I have done. I strongly feel that the university has done exemplary concerning rehabilitation of older buildings ect.

This fact does not negate any and all wrong doing by Fsu or representatives of Fsu.

It is a fact that there are many positives that come from Fsu. This is not what is being questioned!

Penn state had world known accolades but that doesn't excuse what they covered up and refused to deal with!

My free-loading son has been keeping me informed about all the fun he's been having up at FSU this semester. I wish I were in college-and living in ward 5 again!!!!

He got called by his friends last week because they needed a ride home. So he drove to Cedar Street to pick them up-he told me the whole street was loaded with revelers in every stage of inebriation, staggering, throwing up, screaming, having all sorts of fun... SO he made it to the apartment and managed to get the drunken sots loaded into his car. WHILE driving down Cedar Street, the cops showed up,(coming the other way) and blue lighted him. SO he stopped while the FPD interrogated him: Where are you coming from?(A party). How old are you?(22). Has anybody been drinking in this car?(Yeah, everybody but me). Where are you going?(Home). Carry on.

Excellent police work, FPD!!!

To all you FSU students, PARTY ON! I wish I was young again and living in the college neighborhood pizzing off the townies.

Oh! I told my son to tell all his friends that there's a guy who's really civic minded-runs for mayor, cares about his neighbors, just a real American hero, and this guy said it's OK to pee in his yard when they have to go.

What's this guy's address, and where does he want them to relieve themselves without killing the petunias? On the house? What about when they must poop? Which door bell should they ring? I wouldn't want them pooping in their pants. That would make a mess!!!

It's actually a well planned strategy to devalue all the homes surrounding FSU so they can buy them all cheaply.
