He may "put is life on the line everyday", and for that he is owed our gratitude and respect, but he does not have the right to put other people's lives in jeopardy by driving under the influence. This man made a choice to be a public employee and to be paid by public funds. He is held to a different standard of behavior, and he knew that when he took his job. If he is found not guilty it would only be fair to him if that headline was made public too.
He is held to a different standard? So it's okay for everyone else to drink and drive?

Another hero getting caught up in illegal activity. Firefighters really need to fund something more productive to do with their free time rather than breaking the law.
