Thank you for not being afraid to stand up for our faith in America, OUTSTANDING! This was the best front page I have ever seen in any news paper and I'm proud to be a reader of your paper.
More like this please, a picture is worth more than words.

It is interesting how many people will take the CHRISTMAS holiday off of work and not acknowledge the original meaning for the holiday. It was wonderful to see the REAL meaning of this holiday prominently displayed.

Political Correctness is destroying our country.

Political Correctness:
A doctrine fostered by delusional, illogical liberals and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd from the clean end.

Hey Shaking,

For those that choose to recognize Christmas for what it actually is, it is the celebration of Jesus' birth. Many faiths recognize Jesus Christ as their savior and God, so it isn't a specific faith, which is one of the most wonderful things about living here, a freedom to observe a belief in God and Jesus.

We are a country of many faiths!! Thank God!!

If you don't believe, there are many countries that would love to have you, but we accept your ignorance here too.

This newspaper is as horrid as it gets. I am not only offended by some of the stories they focus on , but I was offended by how this supposedly unbiased newspapers focus one particular holiday. I would like to see all the negative comments they got....most likely that won't see the light of day! This particular cover only looked pretty going up in flames in my fire place.

I did not see the picture on the front page of the Sentinel but I have been reading the comments and I am very happy to see how many people "shout out" about the true meaning of Christmas. You have to be a really hard minded person not to realize that "Jesus is the reason for the season."

Sounds like someone got coal from Santa.
What holidays would you like this newspaper to focus on, on December 25th? Were there other holidays celebrated that day that wouldn't offend you as much?

Then you're a fool for purchasing a newspaper that you find no value in reading. Why throw good money after bad?

And who ever claimed that the S&E was unbiased? Did they? Every news organization/outlet has a bias. You're ooling yourself if you think otherwise.

Christmas, as far as I know, is the celebration of the Christians' saviour, aka Jesus Christ. Also, as far as I know, there is only ONE faith that recognizes Christ as their saviour, and that is the Christian faith.

Muslims believe that Christ was a prophet, albeit it a minor one, but not the son of God. They respect him as a great teacher and refer to him as The Sinless One. But as a saviour, no.

The Jewish view of Jesus of Nazareth is that he was an ordinary Jewish man and preacher living during the Roman occupation of the Holy Land in the first century C.E. The Romans executed him, as well as many other nationalistic and religious Jews, for speaking out against Roman authority and abuses.

Buddha pre-dated Jesus by some 500 years, and the Buddhists may respect Christ, but he is not their saviour.

I'm struggling to discover which other religions, as you stated, see Christ as their saviour. As far as I'm concerned, if Christ is your saviour, then you are CHRISTIAN. So much for you saying "many faiths" view Christ as their Saviour. Any yes, there is still room in the US for ignorant nuts like you.

However, I resent that you feel there is no room in this country for anyone other than narrow-minded nuts like you.

One more thing, I celebrate Christmas on January 6. I must belong to a branch of Christianity that is older, and smarter, than yours...

Wow Shaking...you really are too easy.

Catholic, Lutheran, Episcopol, Methodist, Baptist, etc.

Many faiths...one savior.

I'm sure you do think your branch is better, but that is just your arrogance showing...have a wonderful Christmas and New Years too!

The FAITH is Christianity - these are all sects within one faith, or, as you've said, "branches."

Now don't you feel silly?
