If only some of our selectman felt the same way in Lunenburg, we have a lot of fixed income and retired people who just can't afford the prop. 2.5.
I'm 67 and looking for work, I have a good chance of loosing my home here in Lunenburg.
We also have had increases in health insurance and heat, elec. all the same that the town has. I lst my job and down to 1 income for the last year, so what do we do! I haven't been to a dentist or a doctor in over 4 years, just can't afford it.
So cut some work hours at the library our hours have been cut also. Get smaller police cars to save gas, do not plow snow when it only has a dusting on the road. The new condos at whalom what happened to (the roads will be paved in gold)! You have to cut back like the rest of us.
