State workers could be forced to ride Rail Runner

“I do not want our taxpayers traveling on I-25 to ever have to see a state government vehicle with an employee or two traveling alongside a near empty Rail Runner. What message would that send our taxpayers?”

State government would be prohibited from paying for work-related vehicle travel between New Mexico cities served by the Rail Runner under an amendment to the state budget approved by the Senate Finance ... via Santa Fe New Mexican
