Luna's Week To Shine, Rodeo, Catron County Fair
There is a saying most of us grandparents use jokingly: we love to see the headlights come, but the taillights leaving can be just as wonderful of a sight.
As I sit here at the desk typing and watching a mother barn cat play with her baby, there is a special quiet in the morning hours. I know this is the week Luna will come into the spotlight, so I enjoy the quiet normal while it lasts.
The campers, tents, trailers, ATVs, motorcycles and vehicles filled with kids hanging off the sides and out the back are coming into town at a slow and steady pace for our big celebration weekend.
