News media projecting records has been the story about this hurricane, which isn't setting records. And most of the media reports of storm impact have been about coastal areas of which we expect impact. Residents of the southeast coasts expect hurricanes. And the property owners on the coasts are aware of the risks. But wealthy folks with coastal property insist on living with the risk. And the rest is news media hype.
