As a previous customer, I feel it necessary to let everyone in on my experiences with the company, but mostly with its' owner. Here are the facts: Carra Liles treats her employees like dirt, thats why she never keeps the same ones. She helps her brother Allen Cunningham (AKA-Casino Boss, and Robber of single women with children) in every way possible. If Carra has a customer with any kind of structural damage to there home, knowing Allen is no modern day Robin Hood ( he steals from the poor too) she sends him the name and address of the victim drawing them in for the sting. Just ask a close elderly lady friend of mine that lives in Center, Tx. And with the turnover in employees, if there coming to your house....be sure and ask to see there pest control license....chances are they might not even have one. I just happen to have been a cash customer of hers, thanks for the favor, but maybe I'll contact the State Comptroller. By know means am I perfect, but I wouldn't send thieves to others homes, just because I was to busy doing God only knows with all my pocketed cash. Thank you Uncle Sam!! Please feel free to give me some comments, and boycott Carra's Pest Control.

This previous posting is obviously being used to discredit Carra’ Liles in an attempt to hurt her business for malicious reasons. The facts stated in this posting are completely false and has been posted for someone’s own personal attack on Carra’. Carra’ is held in very high standings with her customers and within the community. Carra’ employees are held in the highest regard and are treated very well. Carra’ believes her customers needs come first and she will go that extra yard to satisfy that.
Cara’ Pest & Termites is in very good standings with the Better Business Bureau. Please click on link below to see for yourself.

CARRA'S PEST & TERMITE, INC has been a BBB Accredited business since May 2006. This means it supports BBB's services to the public and meets our BBB Accreditation standards.

No, it's all true. And she waters down her poisons, too. She nearly went to jail, this year for acting like an idiot in the parking lot after a court hearing on her brother. What they usually do is, she'll refer him to a job, he'll make a bid, get some "up front" money, do a little work, get a bunch more "up front" money and never come back. He's bilked almost everyone in town and most of his jobs, he was referred to by her. They're a working duo. She is as dishonest as him. And she'll not come back and finish the job OR redo a job that isn't thorough. Last I heard, he was on his death bed and he and his wife were in trouble for stealing a dead elderly lady's credit card and using it. Definitely someone I don't ever want in my home again.

Gosh… I know Carra’ and her business and I would have to agree with the comments from Steve. Comments from “fof25” and “Speaks the truth” are obviously from the same disgruntled person. Think about it… water down her chemicals… doesn’t finish the job… she wouldn’t be in a successful business for as long as she has been if that was the truth. I checked and her business has an “A” rating with the BBB. Carra” spent two years in Iraq for the military taking care of animal and pest control for the military. She came close to death more than once and is a true “Patriot” http://www.highbeam.com/doc/1G1-155160774.htm... . Whatever her brother did, he is paying for and is in no way a reflection of Carra’ and her business. False and slanderous statements are not a pretty thing and this person should be ashamed of themselves.

Everything I’ve ever seen about Carra Pest &Termite appears that Carra does a quality job, but the way she leads her personal life and the way she treats people is very disturbing.

I work for Carra' and I handle all her business in the office and I can tell you that she does not treat her employees badly she expects them to do their job and when you perform poorly she lets you know. She is direct and to the point and you have to be prepared to hear it like it is. As far as her chemicals I have not seen anything be watered down. What we order is inline with what we use and sell.
It's a shame that people judge us on our past alone. This woman is a successful business woman and being loyal to your family has never been a bad thing so why is she being judged for what her family does? People need to mind their own business.

Know for a fact how this lame excuse for a human being treats people in her company. She lets new employees, with no training or pesticide experience, walk in off the street and into YOUR homes & businesses. She has them spraying chemicals around your children, pets, customers, etc. that the employees know nothing about how it is suppose to be used or what effects it will have. The reason you will constantly see ads for help is because she treats them like **it. Another thing, before you all give her your security codes to your homes and offices, you might want a drug test on her performed. There is a reason she had a poor ex employee go to the hood to buy crack for her when he was stopped for a traffic violation. She threw him under the bus (really, do you think she would admit to it), he was arrested for possession and deported. Granted he should have never bought crack for her, but most likely he was just trying to please her to keep his job. For anyone out there who even thinks about working there, DON'T. I promise you will regret it. Former employees and customers post your experiences here. I for one will never allow her company back in my home. If you choose to ignore this post, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Carra lile's treats her employees like crap, she uses them and get all she can out of them works them into the ground and gets mad when they stand up for themselves. She is not a reasonable person to work for, and she lets new employees without any training into your homes. She is out of control and expects people to bend over backwords to please her.. As a ex customer of hers I have seen many employees come in and out of my home and her turnover rate is ridicous. She cannot keep an employee for more than three months and she is not a very repectable woman.

As a previous employee I have nothing but good to say about Carra and her business. When I needed time off, I had it. When I was injured on the job, she took care of my medical expenses. I enjoyed my time there and have moved on to other things.

As for the last post from "past employee" you say that she uses no where near the gallons that should be used on pre-treats and termite jobs. You are the technician, you are the one that determines the correct amount of pesticide to use. No one is out there with you holding your hand. If an incorrect amount of chemicals were used that falls on your hands not Carra.

I want not paid anything to leave that comment. I was on call 24/7 and agreed to be so, however, I was never called for anything outside of normal working hours (if you were that is not my fault I am just relaying my personal experience). I was treated fairly while employed by Carra (if you were not, again, that is not my fault). I did my job with the utmost professional attitude and during my short time there and I developed a good relationship with Carra's customers. If slander is your cup of tea then at least have some sort of proof to back it up (not just you but anyone that has posted here). I can back up everything I posted earlier with written documents and or phone calls to her customers.

I can say here that not every day was what you would call a perfect day, there were many days that the jobs scheduled for me was a job I had no desire to do. We had a few arguments but you will get that with any employer. When I post here to relay employment experience I look at the overall picture and not just post about one instance that upset me.

I'm so glad I ran across this, after dealing with Carra I can definitely relate to a lot of the negative comments ive read here. I use to live in one of her houses on the road behind her business.. So I've only dealt with her as a tenant. But as a landlord she is TERRIBLE! I would NEVER rent from her again... Never. I do have proof to back this up.. I have written repair/maintenance requests saved in my file but she takes forever to do anything and my requests for her to maintenance or repair her central unit was always been responded to like so, "there's nothing wrong with that unit... Or I can't afford it" (yet she can move in multiple more houses and remodel them with brand new central units).. And not to mention the kitchen ceiling still leaks when there's a good rain.. I was a long term tenant for a couple years and a few times she flat out told me she wasn't doing anything to house and once gave me a tiny unit for the living room/kitchen.. My light bills were $300-$400 a month in the summer and winter just to keep the house 80(summer) and 58 (winter).. Anyways I'm not here to slander Carra, only to state facts and to warm others of what they're getting into.
