Your right about how some people dont need foster kids, BUT you shouldnt be like your being due to the fact that yes she will pay ,im sure she already is people make mistakes and some times those mistakes are so horrible that just the thought of it being your fault about kills you. I have 4 boys and i dont know what i would do if i lost any of them but as a christian woman i know that the good lord wouldnt want me to judge her either. you, the women who allowed them to drive, and all the families are in my thoughts and i will continue to pry for u all!!

What kind of charges will the parents face.

My prayers are with this family and I hope they will forgive themselves. I am 49 yrs old and drove around Long County on many dirt roads at 12 and 14 yrs old ---- so did ALOT of other people my age. This was a terrible tradegy. Everyone should be kind and reach out to these people. No one deserves bad things to happen to them. So as the other commenters have said - do not judge this family. Hope this does not happen to anyone else.

If the parents of this 12-year-old gave her permission to drive a vehicle, they should face charges not only pertaining to the illegality of that action but also for child endangerment. I can guarantee you that their insurance company will have something to say about a 12-year-old being the driver in a motor vehicle accident which resulted in fatalities because it affects their bottom line. At least as much attention should be given to an investigation of the parents' role in this tragedy. After all, human life is more precious than money.

thats sad that it had to happen that way. I don't believe the child should have been driving either but I would never judge and blame parents when I don't know the whole story. I am a parent of two babies and my heart goes out to the family=(

I can't believe that some people don't think the parents of the driver should be help criminally responsible for the 2 deaths. Any intelligent person can reason that a 12 year old should not drive a truck, and especially one full of other kids, i don't care the reason. It is against the law to knowingly put a childs life in danger!! I understand the parents didn't send them out expecting something to happen, doesn't mean they aren't at fault. Religion has nothing to do with it, i am sure that there are people in prison who would go back and make different choices, but they can't and neither can that girls parents. i grew up in Jesup and I am disgraced that there are so many people willing to stand up for someone who obviously made a HORRIBLE decision and recklessly ended two young lives
Look it up

If you know the mother who let the child drive the truck (I am not mentioning any names on here). Call or go to the Long County Clerks Office and ask them to pull the file. See what the citizens of long county said. Its public record!

How DARE you judge the mother! You need to be praying for both families instead of putting blame on the mother. I know the mother, and her entire family and they are wonderful people. Don't you think the mother and father are suffering enough with the loss of their daughter and neighbor's daughter already? They don't need people LIKE YOU pointing the finger at them, that is not your job.
God makes the choice of when he wants to call his children home. It was their time to go and they could have been sitting in the lap of the mother and if was their time, there would have been nothing she could have done.
My heartaches for both families, and I will continue to pray for all of them, you might want to try and do the same thing instead of posting NASTY messages about people you DON'T KNOW!
