Only an animalistic monster would be capable of doing something such as this to an innocent child.

I wish they could make this woman suffer the way she made that poor little girl suffer. How aweful. I bet the real mother of this little girl would love to get her hands on this crazy bitch! I know I would.

She probably did have burns, and lied and said she got the burns from getting that poor child out of the tub. They need to burn that bitch. I know her mother feels like shit, and her father wants to kick that fat bitch in her face, I wonder why would she killed that baby knowing that her father was on his way home further lets us know shes nasty.I'm thinking she was pissed that the real mother called the house to check on her daughter, cruella devell.

If this woman is found guilty, she deserves to serve time, but let's not forget the fact that the biological mother didn't have custody of her, the State of Missouri did and the father didn't even know he was the father till May of last year. I highly doubt that the mother is standing at the door waiting for this lady to appear so she can seek revenge. Let's not glorify the natural mother till more information is clearly written. My heart goes out to this little girl.

if it is proven that this horrendous mother done this to such a beautiful girl she herself needs to be hog tied and burned the exact same way the little girl was. then maybe she will know exactly what that little girl went through. i find it very hard to beleive that the little girl laid down in a tub of water that hot all on her own accord. also lets not forget what her own son said about the ordeal. if and when convicted she should suffer the same manner as she made that child suffer.

some of the info is correct, but not all of it. sarah's father did know he had a daughter, since she was born. he had been paying child support for years. maybe her mother wasn't perfect, but she never hurt her.the bitch that hurt her will pay.

I know this family and I believe that Erica didn't mean to kill her. I think that she just wanted to burn her to cover the bruises. That, in any way, does not excuse what she did. Yes, she should stay the rest of her life in jail and suffer for what she has done. That little girl, who played on my daughter's softball team, was precious and did not deserve to die that way.

You should know all the facts before you convict someone. Very few of the facts you are reading are true. Erica had no burns and there were no other indications of previous abuse. This is a fact!! If you want to believe something believe this is a tragedy and everyone wants someone to blame, but sometimes there is nobody to blame, and that is why it is called an accident!!

Augusta, a fact is defined in the Merriam-Webster's Dictionary as something that has actual existence. If you were not present in the home at the time of this so called "accident", then you do not know what the facts are. Aside from God Himself, there are three beings who know exactly what happened and sadly, there are only two beings left here on earth who can attest to the events that occurred that tragic evening.

We, as Americans, should have faith in the American Justice System and hopefully the truth will prevail. If justice is not served in this life, then certainly it will be served in the next. God knows the entire truth and He will ensure that Sarah will not suffer at the hands of another anymore.

May God bless the little angel.

i miss sarah a great deal and nothing will fill the place in my heart, as much as i would like to hate erica and blame her for what she did i keep remembering her mother. this has to be the worst thing a mother could face. even if she didn't mean to kill sarah,it should never have happened. there are plenty of people to blame. it seems everyone in sarah's life let her down. i hope this doesn't turn all the family's against each other. we are all victoms and it will affect us all for a very long time.God has our little girl now and nothing bad can happen to her.

I miss Sarah very much. The days she spent at my house and the look on her face at dinner while we all played with our food, even though we weren't supposed to. Erica is not the monster everyone makes her out to be. As for "Georgia" don't go quoting things out of the dictionary, I was not there, but the dectectives and media were not there as well. I did see Erica myself, so the things I say about her are true. The fact is there was no signs of abuse or neglect. The only thing they have is a death in which they want to blame someone. I would never defend someone I believed was guilty. We all know our justice system has flaws, so all we can do is pray that everyone in our American Justice System does there job, and doesn't just want someone to blame.

Well ..I know everyone involved also. And both of these children spent time with my daughter. I wasnt in that house but you know who was? Erika's own son. I believe that this may have been an attempt to cover the bruises also. I was asked the day before this happened to watch both children while she picked her husband up. So even though it wasnt a calculated plan to kill the child she wasnt treated in the manner that such a beautiful child should have been treated. With her past she never had a chance and now she has suffered worse than anyone can imagine. Her step brother is the one who spoke the truth, he is the only one who has no reason to lie. He is the one who will suffer now emotionally. Sarah has gone to a batter place. And Erika should pay for what she has done even if she didnt realize that such a horrible act had these kinds of consequences at the time. Sarah will be missed ..my 7 year old daughter prays for her every day and so do I.

This is such a tradegy!!! I am truly heartbroken. I am a mother of 2 young men (who live with their father & step-mother) and the step-mother of 2 beautiful young ladies and the step-grandmother of gorgeous twin girls!!! What is hard is the feelings of all involved. My prayers are with the entire family. I also pray the truth is found and this beautiful child has found peace in heaven. I only hope we all wake up and start protecting our innocent children!!!!!

Doesn't everyone know that 80% 2nd and 3rd degree burns are fatal? Never mind that this must be the most painful way to die. I can't imagine how horrible it must be to have been beaten daily and then burned to death. There are NO EXCUSES. She is the defition of evil!!!!!!!!!!

THAT GIRLS MOTHER DOESN'T GIVE A CRAP ABOUT HER -- OR THE OTHER 6 CHILDREN SHE HAS (ALL BY DIFFRENT FATHERS) THAT HAS BEEN EITHER ADOPTED BY SOMEONE OR IN THE CARE OF THE STATE AND SOME MAY BE IN THE STATES CARE YOU ARE LIVING IN.
