I thought that you hated capitalism, now I know for sure. You actually think that insurance companies shouldn't make any money? If they make no profit then they wouldn't exist. You would have no insurance. The same goes for Ford Motor Company. If they do not make any money on the cars they sell, they are out of business. You have no car to drive.<quoted text>
And by the way ...
What's wrong with insurance companies getting to insure only healthy people and leave those sick turkeys for the taxpayers to take care of, and then canceling coverage of them healthy folks that gets sick.
That's how they make their profits, and the onliest people screwed is the taxpayers cause they got to provide medical care to the sick, sicker, and sickest.
Sounds line good capitalism to me - the instance companies make huge profits and the taxpayers get screwed.
We worship the God of Capitalism in this Country by God (of Capitalism) and anything that interferes with profits, in any way, is just damn sinful - and I, for your information and gonna be part of no sinnin.
Don't you realize that the older a person gets the more costly the insurance becomes? That is because the older person will cost the insurance company more. The insurance company isn't stupid.
If insurance companies are forced to insure people that are very old and sick, they must charge them much higher rates to cover the cost of their illness's. If they do not charge them more than there are only 3 choices. Either charge the younger insured more for their policies or go out of business. The third is a single payer, a government controlled system that pays for everybody. Guess what? Someone is going to pay those medical bills. It will be the taxpayer that gets screwed again as the money must come from somewhere. That would be you bigshot! Get ready to shell out as that is what you and your hero Obamas really want. A single payer system. That would be called socialized medicine.
