Yea, all those folks working at Walmart have a million bucks sitting around the house, and we know Walmart, Publix, and 7-11, all pay their cashiers $200K a year - so they have no excuse not become hedge fund entrepreneurs.

Those shiftless losers just won't invest that disposable income from their $9.00 per hour wages.

Maybe we should simply make the rich pay at the same tax rate working people do.

Yea, asking these folks to pay taxes at the same rate working folks do is soooooo unfair.

Heirs to Today's Largest Fortunes

This time we’re going to take a look at a few heirs awaiting an inheritance.

Delphine Arnault: Delphine’s father, Bernard, heads the LVMH Group whose portfolio includes Louis Vuitton, Moët, Hennessy, Marc Jacobs, Dior among others. Deemed the Wolf in a Cashmere Coat, she is one of the richest women in the world.

Sam Branson: Sam’s father, Sir Richard Branson, is worth an estimated $3.8 billion and is the man behind the Virgin collection of companies. Sam is often seen hanging with Hollywood celebutantes, modeling, and relaxing on his dad’s private 74 acre island, Necker Island.

The Ikea sons: IKEA is the world’s premier supplier of affordable home furnishings. Headed by Ingvar Kamprad, IKEA is, in fact, the world’s largest furniture retailer generating around $28 Billion dollars per year in worldwide sales. Ingvar’s three sons are expected to inherit tens of billions of dollars.

Abigail Johnson: Abigail “Abby” Johnson’s family controls 49% of America’s largest mutual fund company. As of 2008, Abigail Johnson was worth around $15 Billion dollars US, placing her as the 43rd richest person in the world.

Ivanka Trump: As the daughter of Donald Trump, Ivanka stands to inherit her father’s undisclosed amount of personal wealth as well as real estate and entertainment assets. Her brothers, Donald, Jr. and Eric, along with Ivanka will inherit most of what “the Donald” leaves behind.

Allegra Versace: On her 18th birthday, Allegra came into the inheritance left to her valued at over $700 million. After her early education in Milan, Allegra attended Brown University. Her struggle with anorexia is well documented and ongoing.

Aerin Lauder Zinterhofer: Granddaughter of cosmetic greatness, Estee Lauder - In 2004, Aerin’s stock holdings in Estee Lauder alone topped $550 million US.

Hey, I don't want to be unfair. From now on, let's make the billionaires pay at 35% and the working man pay at 15%.

If that's too unfair to all you rich parasites, feel free to get a job.

Do you Right Wingers understand how stupid is sound to claim all Americans have the "same" opportunity to enjoy capital gains rates and hedge fund rates.

Yea, that's the same as saying all Americans have the same opportunity to play professional football for the Falcons. That 5'4" 135 lb. 18 year old better get off his ass and start working out - there's no reason he can't start at cornerback.

And you wonder why rational folks just shake their heads in wonder at the moronic words that fall from Right Wing mouths.

"Tens of thousands of health care professionals, union workers and community activists hired as "navigators" to help Americans choose Obamacare options starting Oct. 1 could earn $20 an hour or more, according to new regulations issued Wednesday."
"It is still not clear how many navigators will be required. California, however, provides a hint. It wants 21,000.
That could be an expensive proposition. The proposed rules, now open for public comment, suggest an estimated pay of $20-$48 an hour."
Looks like it will take appox 500,000 navigators for all States. At Average of $25-30 an hour that come out to $14 million an hour.
Now everyone knows that group will milk the taxpayer for everthing it can so we'll looking at maybe $800 million.
Update on this post.

"One health expert with close ties to HHS told Breitbart News, "The navigator program, as evidenced by the leadership of Enroll America and yesterday's rule from CMS, will be a jobs program for unemployable Obama For America campaign volunteers and ACORN remnants."

"many observers are uneasy about the inclusion of voter registrations in the health care applications. LA Rep. Charles Boustany recently sent a letter to HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, asking why voter registration information was included. Boustany worried:

The position of the question could lead some to think voter registration is somehow tied to subsidy eligibility."

So it looks like Acorn will be registering illegals to vote at the same time they register to get free healthcare.

Read that again. Try to understand what it means. Then follow-up on the negotiations that took place to prevent it.

It means it was Obama's idea and he has abided by it, by not presenting a budget in 4 years.
So when repubs say sequestation is Obama's bag, they are correct, so how can you say otherwise?

ok, I was wrong, Obama has submitted a budget. Here are the results.

After Obama submitted his fiscal year 2013 budget proposal on Feb. 13, 2012, House Republicans put it up for a floor vote.

The result: 414-0 against.

The same thing happened a year earlier in the Senate. That vote: 97-0 against. Democrats didnt support the plan because it has been supplanted by another deficit-reduction plan Obama had later outlined. Republican leaders demanded a vote on Obamas budget to show that Democrats dont support any detailed budget blueprint.

And the repubs were right.

Even the demos don't think much of Obams budget.

ACORN ?

After all the proof presented of the numerous investigations completely exonerating ACORN;

After the Right Wing tool who lied and edited videos to illegally and falsely accuse ACORN of wrongdoing had to apologize and pay $100K to the ACORN employee he lied about;

After Breitbart and other Right Wing tools have been caught paying hookers to lie and falsely claim Menendez paid for them for sex, only to have the hookers recant and their lawyer identify the Right Wing scumbags who paid them;

You actually attack ACORN again.

Right Wingers - absolutely no limits to the lies they are willing to spread.

Solving the Healthcare Crisis the Old-Fashioned Way
by wbramh Oct 02, 2011 8:03pm PDT
Back in 1996, one of America’s lower-paid healthcare company executives was Allen Wise, a VP at United Healthcare. His annual salary was a paltry $2,697,751.
That was then - or “the lean years” as they’re remembered in executive board rooms.
Just nine years later (in 2005), the same Dr. McGuire (still stuck at stingy United Healthcare)“earned”$124,80 0,000 in salary alone.
Unfortunately for McGuire, 1996 was to be his last year milking the system due to his standout felonious role in a major stock options scandal (see "Legal Issues").
The SEC fined McGuire $468 million, which I assume came off the top of his parting gift from UH, a $1.1 BILLION (with a capital “B”) golden parachute. It was (at the time) the largest parting gift ever awarded any corporate chief executive in the history of mankind; in fact, probably the largest since the Cretaceous Period, but accurate corporate record-keeping suffered even back then.
All the articles that I read were somewhat old and said that his golden parachute COULD be worth up to 1.5 billion dollars. This guy was a sleaseball and United Healthcare let him go. He did walk away with 180 million dollars all total. Not 1.2 billion as you say. McGuire had to forfeit his stock and other benefits.
Read this whole article dated 2012 with names and graphs of the top money making CEO's. Look at pager #5 that explains about McGuires problems.

Ok. It's obvious that you're in the early stages of following politics.

That vote was put up by the Republicans in an intentional attempt to embarrass Obama. In short, it was political posturing so that people like you who don't have the details would throw it around as propaganda.

Democrats in Congress already had an alternative Budget that closely followed Obamas but with some differences that they were supporting. As such it was guaranteed that the particular version the Republicans put up for vote was not going to be passed, and the Republicans knew it going into this. Honestly, they should be embarrassed that they would stoop to such childish time-wasting tactics.

You've got nothing here - just political games that you fell for. Don't be uninformed and gullible.
