Oh, please, Bill! Regular people lovingly feed their families healthy meals for less than that per meal. For a family of 6, that would be over $100 per week in groceries ($5,584/year)-- we spend less than that purchasing fresh, organic and healthy. I can't purchase in the kind of bulk that a prison can, so I can only imagine the buying power they have.

WTG, Sheriff's Dept.! That is a chunk of change to save each year. Too bad 22 News didn't give us more details on the ways in which you conserve and save!

Yea how did they save energy?
Just shut off all power and no hot water that's all!
Prisoners don't deserve it.
