One is tempted nearly to jeer. I'll save my reaction for the actual dismissal of the suit, although the attorney-general is, of course, technically correct.

What he doesn't say, the article either didn't report or else he didn't use in his response because it isn't technically "legal." And that is that there *IS* no basis for hating others for *zero reason*, and that the law sometimes recognizes this when a group such as trans/gay/etc. people are being senseless and endlessly abused every day of their lives by the public.

I imagine that Holder did not mention this because *the hate crimes law* makes it a "foregone conclusion," emphasis on the word LAW, and by implication, FEDERAL. This suit has no standing and no basis, the end.

Their ludicrous lawsuit apparently seeks to preserve the right of the church to commit physical violence against LGBT people.

You just have to ask yourself, "Who would Jesus brutalize?"
