I carried a friend to cast his/her vote at the Hodge fire station.

I have noticed on two occasions that whites were seated at the table with whites, and blacks the same. Is this intentional or just plain "life will never change in this town"? come on now people, look at the misstakes u are making with these biracial children.

Get rid of the people thats causing the problem and not those who want to make a difference in life. WHAT A SHAME!

i think they pick the people to work based on what ward they live in. i'd bet the wards are mostly black/white and that's why the people are too.

its because the white people there are better friends with the white people. same as the blacks. I wouldnt go sit with someone of a different race if i wasnt friends with them just to please people. example...me and my friend justin work together were white........2 black guys who are also friends with each other work there too.....we have a fundraiser....im gonna sit wit justin....and the black guys will sit with each other...nothing racist about it, just friendship runs deep

Not so good question. I know that in jackson parish, some of the ladies live in dif parishes, they are cousins, in-laws, and just plain friends. Names are supose to be pulled from a bowl, if there are 115 names in th bowl how can the same persons be chosen esch time there is voting? Can someone answer this so that me and others might understand?

How can we correct all the wrongs in this society if we can only live life the way wrongagain explains it the way he did. Sittig with some one of a different race can only do one thing...TEACH U SOMETHING about other people who don't consider them selves racist either... just trying to know ya. I get along with all kinds of people for my kids sake. Our kids are watching us u know.
