I was informed that the football field at the high school was recently reworked and new grass installed at a total cost of $320,000.00. Is this true?

Why does it matter if the money was spent or not?

Who cares? Really? Teachers don't have materials they need. Our students are being taught in portable class rooms that are falling down. We just passed a bond issue to give more money to the schools because they are broke.

You don't care huh. You must be part of Obamas band wagon. Must be a taker. A government leech.

You're mistaken, the pseudo conservatives of George County are the ones who do not want to support our schools. The condition of these schools is pathetic..... GC pride? WHERE?

When we see where a school places their priorities and favored ways of spending it is much easier to understand their failures and downfalls. Just my opinion.

Most or all of improvements that are done to the stadium are done with booster money. I am not saying I know for a fact, but I do know they got a new score board and boosters did pay for it.

I paid 6k in property taxes in the great george county last year. How much did you pay. Yea I thought so.

Booster club, ball game revenue or whatever seems to me that is a big waste of money. I have to sit and listen to all these teachers bitch about having to buy their supplies out of their pockets and how terrible the classrooms are and how the air conditioners are broke.

320k is dropped on grass? I don't feel sorry for anyone who is in a bad situation because they are to stupid to manage properly.

That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. No bond money did or will go to the football field.

Who said anything about bond money? It is a shame to spend this amount of money on a football field. Any money, If God gave it to them it would be a shame to spend it on this.

You people kill me. Who said bond money? Keep on spending until our kids are going to school in cardboard boxes.

The answer is always more money and higher taxes. Because rich people can afford it yea, let them pay.

Your lack of success in life isn't our problem, nor your child's.
