There's still always swap shop and Geo.Co. want ads. This is just an added place to sell or buy. Also at the Geo.Co. library you can put a sale list on their community board. There's Craigs list and others. Now days people are in need and this helps out everyone, those who need to sell and those who can't pay new price.

Sorry to start this thread up again, but I really enjoy the Lucedale for Sale and Wanted. Curious to know what you all think about it. Have any of you used it? So many good items listed on there. By the way, has WRBE stopped swap shop? I turned it on at 8:30 one morning and there was only music and today I saw in the G C Times that they have a new format for their broadcast. What gives? Maybe I should address this question on the WRBE forum.

I like it..I check it daily...I know some on here might not use it because they don't use Facebook...but I think it is a good thing.

I've seen it there for several months as I use it sometimes too. I don't know that WRBE has anything to do with it though. There is also have a Lucedale Area on there.

The page on Facebook is great for young mothers. Kids outgrow clothes so fast. There's a lot of buying//selling among this group of young women.

I stick with craigslist... I tried the Facebook For Sale sites and I find it to be too cluttered to even bother.

Seems it could be a good thing - we all have things we would like to sell from time to time.

Geaux, it is very cluttered, but just click on the 'X' to the right of each item you're not interested in and it will go away.
Also, I do wish people wouldn't post their same item every single day. I had an ad on there that got buried within 3 days. I have bought 3 items from it so far.

Yeah, I tried that but it seems as though, just as you said, that people post the same thing over and over and over every day. It's sort of a domino effect, everyone wants their item to be the latest post so they do that so theirs isn't pushed way down the list.

Maybe their come up with some better features that are unique to the for sale facebook sites.

Actually that happens when someone responds to the item for sale. Its automatic, just naturally goes to the top.

I've never seen this happen, probably because I delete the ones I don't want to see, but I'll pay attention now. When I had responses to my ad, it stayed at the bottom, didn't go back to the top.
