There's never a dull moment at Wal-Mart, no matter where you are. Police in Albany, N.Y., have released footage of a man they say is 47-year-old Yiqiang Wu of Schenectady attacking a uniformed U.S. Army officer in the checkout line of a Wal-Mart. Wu has been charged with assault as a hate crime and released on bail.

How about the Soldier that stood guard at his local school in his fatigues and is now facing time for being in the wrong uniform in public.

It was a Marine and it is against Marine Corps regulation. I almost vomit every time I see someone in public in their cammies, most of the time it's an Army soldier, but every now and again I see a Marine just off of the island wearing their trousers and boots with a skivvy. A Marine is only authorized their dress C uniforms while off base, other branches are more liberal with their regs.

I personally think in this day and time wearing their utilities off base is probably not a good idea. If military is going out on the town either wear civies or uniform of the day. I think this is an old an honorable tradition that should be enforced. Just my opinion.

They do it all the time here, just going into whatever store or place they want and then back to base.

Probably National Guard, I think they are a little more lenient with them because of their active reserve status and being civilians doing their duty. Maybe peanut man ought to try to do something worth while with her life. I've noticed that myself, not sure if it is within regulations or not, maybe peanut woman knows.

Show them the respect they ARE DUE! These guys/ladies stand ready to lay their life on the line in defense of our Constitutional rights.

I have nothing but respect for the military, I'm a 100% service connected veteran, my daughter is an E-6 in the Navy. The peanut man I'm referring to is a private joke for a nut on this forum, lol.
