As you know, NAFTA began its journey to validity under Bush I, who negotiated it with Canada and Mexico, and signed it ceremonially prior to ratification before he left office.

Member of both parties voted for it in Congress, more Republicans than Democrats.

Those are the facts, chief. Spin em how you want. Both parties did it, and it never would have passed without sufficient support from each party's reps in Congress, no matter who controlled the House or Senate.
