That was the dumbest comeback ever(ohnoyoudidnt). What does getting used by the Repubs have to do with being successful in life and expect to be given everything? You need to shut the hell up and stop making comments that have absolutely nothing to do with readers' comments, or their opinion; you moronic psuedo-intellectual.
obviously you're not smart enough to comprehend the real meaning behind my message..

The dems controlled the house and senate during part of Bush's term. The last and worst part.
See what 6 year of Republican leadership did! Throw all the bullshit you want, George Bush was the worst President I have ever witnessed in 53 years. And I voted for him twice.
In the end it became pretty obvious he had screwed up with the ridiculous tax cuts (that did what) and ignoring our mounting problems.

Oh yeh, I'm Male and white and I recently changed to being a Democrat.

Cause I gots brains...Geez!

Well, slick Rick won the election. Was he the best pick? Not by any stretch, but If White had been elected, the whole state of Texas would belong to Mexico. He destroyed Houston with his "sanctuary" policies and his corrupt buddies. And that's not to say that Perry is much better!

Just a little of my philosophy: A person is a fool to vote for a political party for ever and ever. Situations change with time. There are times when a certain party platform favors a person and there are times when it doesn't. A person has to change to the party and candidate that favors his individual situation. Just blindly voting without studying how the candidate affects the person's individual situation is stupid. For instance, I would hate to have seen what John McCain would have done to stave off the financial situation if he were to have been our president. I think President Obama had the support and courage to act swiftly to
turn things around, and because of his action, probably sacrificed his future.

You are absolutely correct. As an independent I support President Obama's decisions. My lack of party affiliation allows me to see things more clearly than many...coupled with research.

As an independent a person will view candidates as you described., and vote for the best. This is the first time I have been called so many vile names for backing our President.

I am disgusted with the anger and ignorance being exhibited by the right.

It was a mere 4 years ago President Bush lost his Congressional majority in a similar fashion.
What goes around, comes around.

Texas is a great place to be if you are a political hustler, liar, con artist, or any other imbecile. Rick Perry has just been reaffirmed as the state's maximum leader. Because Of Perry's record time in office, he also has just earned the esteemed special title, Commander of All Morons.

To tell the truth, as I perceive it, Perry is a prick. He runs on his looks and charms and idiots fall for his speeches written by others. Look it up, our schools are broke because of him. He won't accept monies from the Obama administration for our schools because he put out the lie that there were strings attached. Wrong, the only stipulation was that the extra money be spent on school districts ALONG with state money. The year before, Perry used federal money in place of state money. Wrong again, it was to be used WITH state money. So, what did he do with the state money that was allocated to schools?? Who the hell knows. Probably on his $9,000 a month rental mansion. Yes, that's your tax money.

No, he took it. But he did write a letter to say he disagreed with it. http://www.news8austin.com/content/top_storie...

East Texas; Obama had the support of the Communist party and the stupidity to make every attempt to destroy this country. This massive turn around indicates that any thinking individual did not agree with his philosophy! The sooner that he and his czars are out of office, the better. Then the Repub's can begin to fix all of his screwups.!

You got that right Pedro.... but those who support this type of political disaster will always turn the other way and pretend there is nothing wrong. But get Bill White in and within a month, they would have been blaming him for sinking the ship that as you say "Perry guided for a decade." What is wrong with these people. Those Americans who complain when it comes to their own personal situations will have the policital signs in their front yards supporting the very crooks that steal from them.

Actually, Repubs can begin to fix the screwups left also by Bush after his 8 years in office. Did anyone see or read anything about that while he was in office?????
