In an article in today's Lubbockonline.com , ;public school teachers are saying they can't make it on 40-49k per year. I'd say they are living beyond their means if they have to moonlight to make ends meet in an area with perennially depressed wages.

Taxpayers are receiving less and less for their school tax dollars. The Online Academy and home schooling is growing by leaps and bounds and is a good alternative to the public schools where emphasis is upon political correctness, bilingual education and diversity. We are becoming a nation of dumbed-down idiots. Many HS graduates cannot find the U.S. on a world globe, or name the presidents on Mt. Rushmore.
