Vintage Township is celebrating the Holiday Season in a big way and you are invited!

Vintage Township’s Winter Wonderland begins December 5th and continues every Friday and Saturday evening through December 20th.

The first annual Vintage Christmas Home Tour is December 13th from 2 – 5 pm.

Join in a Winter Wonderland’s holiday spirit at Vintage Township’s Founder’s Park. Enjoy the beautiful decorations and Christmas scenes through out the park, take a ride on a “pony-drawn” carriage, sing Christmas Carols and, yes, enjoy a stroll in the snow! Snow is guaranteed to fall every 20 minutes!

Santa will also be there and waiting to hear the children’s Christmas requests and wishes. This is a magical experience you and your family won’t want to miss!
Hot Chocolate, cider and fresh basked cookies will be available for sale with proceeds going to Toys for Tots.

On Saturday, December 13th you can tour six homes beautifully decorated for the holidays in the first annual Vintage Christmas Home Tour. This is a one-day event on December 13th from 2 pm – 5 pm. Tickets are now on sale at the Vintage Township Information Center located at 11410 Trafalgar. Buy your tickets early – only a limited number will be sold!

Come out to Vintage Township any weekend between December 5th and December 20th and feel the magic of Christmas.

For more information about Vintage Township’s Winter Wonderland or Vintage Christmas Home Tour visit or call the Information Center.

This seems more like an ad. I remember when all home tours in Lubbock were free. That was back before everything we do as a people had a price attached to it. Too bad, though.

That time was when you could find a neighborhood kid who would cut your lawn (and you wouldn't have to worry about getting sued if the kid messed up). Most kids now dont even know how to start a lawn mower, much less use one.
