Dont eat out or order out if you cant tip. If you get bad service then by all means dont tip. If someone gives you good service then you should show them your appriciation by tipping. That is why good service is slipping because of non tippers. Thanks alot.

Couldn't have said it better! We can't forget the training, though. I was trained and I don't think they are being trained. If they are trained then the managers are of the same mentality as the servers. If you ask to speak to a manager to report a particular incident, you will quickly realize why you were treated so piss poor by the employee. I've always been an excellent tipper, but I will leave nothing if I get any attitude. Now, put a fake smile on that face and try to act normal until quittin' time!

Hell dominoes even wrote that on the front of their boxes!! "any delivery charge is not a tip paid to your driver, please reward your driver". Ok Crystal.. They don't get minimum wadge. They get 2.13/hr. If you don't tip the government taxes them on how much you purchase as a way for them to track taxes. You don't tip them they are making negative money. Keep that in mind when you go out and eat somewhere. P.S. your most likely Mexican.

I worked my way through school in dusty ole Lubbock Tx and depended on tips for my living expenses. I provided good service and was sometimes disappointed when red neck Flo left a dime and quarter after gorging on lobster. You can't afford to leave a tip then 7 Eleven has good hot dogs.

Why do they not get minimum wage? Isn't it the law? The whole practice should be stopped. If i order a meal, the total price should be listed, no extra. If no one agreed to working such 'illegal' wages, then the employers would have to change it or go out of business.

Well maybe they shouldn't be a delivery driver...Anyways the topic of tips always gets a bit heated and as you can tell it brings all the idiots from both sides to the surface. The great thing about the whole situation is freedom of choice. The servers and delivery drivers have the choice to take the job or not, then they have the choice how to act while on the job. Finally the consumer has the choice, based on the service received or whatever other factors they want to consider, to tip. Personal I am aware of the pay scale at the various places I order from or eat out at and tip, or don't tip accordingly. I've known of some pizza delivery drivers that got paid 8/hr, so in that situation I tip a very low amount.
