Is it??? Because this gal from Colorado wonders about it because her cousin is missing and disappeared from Lubbock around the same time as Joanna and Summer, and we need answers. Perhaps "wonder" was the wrong term, as it tends to be taken blondly. I need to know when the judge makes his decision.

How long does it take to reach a decision? I hope the judge doesn't let him off the row, from his past decisions is what concerns me....

I have a stalker from your area that had the same address of Aurora Colorado..and that person knows that I had to testify at this appeal. It was very intense. So, yes, I will fish because I wouldn't wish stalking -harassing on anyone. Since you come out all defensive, not really sure what to think. Since I only asked a dang question. Bottom line, in what I know, Rosendo was a dead man walking before he committed these horrendous crimes. I believe he should be sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. No sentence will bring this girls back. This is the first time I ever believe that the death sentence is not the right one. If you are legit, I am sorry for your loss, I don't know what you mean by "taken blondly", but I am not your enemy. The fact that you want to correct my comment's words makes me still wonder...but I come by that justly.

Do you suspect Rosendo killing your cousin? Will the death penalty bring you any closer to any truth? The decision might take a full month. I look for it by August.

Any news? I hope this guy gets what he deserves. Will it bring the girls back? No, but he gets to wake up every day, be fed, read a book, have a conversation, even gets use of the internet. These girls will never get that again because f him! I'm tired of my tax dollars supporting someone who admitted to killing one of my childhood friends. It's sickening!

Sassafras, I apologize for the way that sounded. Yes I do suspect Rodriguez of killing my cousin. I only meant that his appeal may be the deciding actor in whether we ever get answers in Jennifer's disappearance. It's been a long 8 years with no answers.
Summer's friend, I am so sorry for your loss. For some, it mey help with healing to help out in Jennifer's case. If you think it will, look up her page on facebook at Jennifer Wilkerson (missing). We would love to hear from you!

Lesley, I am sorry for this chapter in your life too. And I pray that your family finds answers soon. I don't know if it wil make a difference but Rosendo was abused and beten his whole life by his larger than life father, who was a powerful attorney at one time. I know a lot of people will say that they lived a rough life too. But it damaged Rosendo and his parents ignored it becuase they wanted to keep a certain image. As I said, he is already a dead man walking, he was abused in every way imaginable, physically, verbally, mentally, spiritually. He probably doesn't care if he lives or dies. That is why someone has to try to introduce him to God. He was mentally ill, at least he is on medication now. I am not trying to get anyone to feel sorry for him, just telling some history. When I worked for his father, I was shown a loaded gun every day, it chips away your psyche. Yes, I got out but Rosendo never had that chance. It is a sad case, and no one has come out unscathed. As I said, Leslie, I will pray for you and yours, and a final peace about your cousin. I hear your frustration and know there will be no closure. Not even if the death sentence is carried out.

I knew Rosendo also, he did not seem like the troubled tortured soul you paint him to be. He didn't like certain people, period. He was nice to me but he would act like he was above everyone especially if they were not hispanic. And it upsets me that we continue to waste our tax payer dollars to keep him alive, when he murdered in cold blood two young women that could not compare to his strength. I believe an eye for an eye and he should loss his life, at least it will be more humane than beating to death and stuffing into a suitcase....

He doesn't portray himself as beaten down, abused, depressed, or mentally ill in his penpal request or bio. He comes across as confident, intelligent, and centered. Abuse doesn't make a person murder helpless women.

By the way- the appeal was decided. The sentence was upheld.

If he doesn't care if he lives or dies, why is he using our tax dollars to fly him to Lubbock for his appeals? He should just take his punishment like a man..since he never gave at least two women (maybe more) a chance to live....
