Gary was found dead in his bed this morning,Gary was a wonderful man and a great father my heart goes out to his family,rest in peace Gary I love ya!

I agree with you he was a good man from what I knew of him. Which wasn't much I just remember him from school. He is in good hands GOD will take care of him now.

Gary N. Dean

LOWVILLE, N.Y.ó Gary Nicholas Dean, 48, of Waters Road, died Monday, March 16, at his home.

Born Jan. 9, 1961, in Lowville, the son of Richard H. and Rosemary F. Hanno Dean, he attended Lowville Academy.

After high school, Gary worked construction in Denton, TX and moved back to this area working for Snyder and Memphis Construction companies out of Syracuse.|

He also worked for Burdick Construction of Boonville and most recently worked for Lan-Co Construction in Watertown.

A marriage to Pamela Shue ended in divorce.

Mr. Dean was a communicant and former altar server at St. Peterís Catholic Church.

He was an avid football fan who loved watching football and played football for Lowville Academy.

An outdoorsman enthusiast, he enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a loving father who loved spending time with his children, family and friends.

In addition to his mother, Rosemary Dean of Lowville, Gary is survived by his three children: Tracie E., Jessica N., and Nicholas T., all at home; three brothers and their spouses: Richard J. and Linda Dean, Glenfield, William R. and Roseanna Dean, Cleveland, Tenn., and David M. and Terri Dean, Burgettstown, Pa.; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Judy A. Kellogg, Cheryl E. and John Szewil and Carolle L. Thayer, all of Lowville; nieces, nephews and cousins.

His father, Richard H. Dean, two sisters, Kathy M. Steria and Patricia M. Enslow; and two nephews, Timothy Dean and Brenden Thayer, all died before him.

A funeral mass will be said 10 a.m. Friday, March 20, at St. Peterís Catholic Church with Rev. Christopher J. Looby, parochial vicar, officiating. Burial will be in the Lowville Rural Cemetery.

Family and friends may call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, March 19, at Sundquist Funeral Home, 7676 N. State St., Lowville.

Memorials may be made in Garyís memory to Huntingtonís Disease, Upstate New York Chapter, P.O. Box 25237, Rochester, NY 14625.

Gary was an amazing father, his family has had so much heart ache. My heart goes out to his mother Rosie, and his three children. May they find the stregnth in this time of saddness to pull through. Gary would want everyone to remember the good times with a smile on their face. God bless
