do you always believe everything you read and are told? let the man defend himself and tell his side before you tear him apart.

"Lady Gullible"- this isn;t something dreamed up out of the blue. it was investigated by the Sheriff's dept. and reviewed by the DA. you can rush to his defenese if you like, but corrupt officals get no sympathy from me.
me thinks you have an interest in ATV trails more than his rights.

"Unreal Deal" If those departments had a clue how to run an investigation, some of the known criminals in this town would be behind bars. The guilty walk free and the innocent are accused. Anyone who trusts those Lewis County Departments wholeheartedly needs to get their head checked! And no, I have absolutely no interest in ATV Trails, sorry.

your logic is absent. you say Diehl must have his say before he is judged and you support this by saying the Sheriff Dept. among others can't be trusted as the guilty walk free and the innocent are accused. How is it that you, and only you, know who is innocent and who is guilty? it seems to me that you are trying to have it both ways, as it is the same system that arrests, and then let's go, those that you and only you, also know are guilty that also arrested Mr. Diehl! On the one hand you say to let the system work and then you turn around and say it doesn't work. but then, this is Topix.

Wow.. Someone certainly is touchy about the subject. If you read about this, this man was accused not convicted. Law enforcement doesn't always get it right now do they. How many people have been innocently convicted in our society and serve many years only to find substantial evidence years later that clear them. Just because there was an "investigation" doesn't mean it's 100% completely factual and truthful. Just like a coin, there are always two sides to everything. Rumors and gossip do nothing but hurt people and sometimes unnecessarily. In Lewis County you find a lot of corruption and political BS.

police reports and official charges are not rumors and gossip. it is these reports and charges that people are referring to, not "rumors" conjured up out of thin air. it is you that decided everyone was basing their comments on "rumors and gossip."

Go back and read the article and you will see what the actual charges were and what the rumors are. I didn't decide if he was innocent or guilty. What I said was you can't always believe everything until all the cards are out on the table. Everything other than the actual charges are rumors and gossip.

Didn't an article say he turned himself in and he has public defenders for his lawyers. Isn't that what I read, or i better go back and reread this article. If I didn't do anything wrong, I wouldn't be turning myself in. Then he was put on suspension at the end of the day. Sick of being screwed by sorry azz departments that are out to take care of only themselves.

Mr. Diehl fired today. Vote 9-0. Mr Lucas walked out in protest. Little Rickie seems to be losing his grip on things lately. It was fun to watch his man Doheenie take a dive in the election also. Lovin' it!

This is all a joke. Nothing will happen to him except he wll lose his job. I bet he pleads it down to a broken tail light. Someone should check out Legislatue Burke too. He is about as corrupt as they come.
Every damn legislator deserves to be voted out of office. Not one should be exempt. There is enough stupidity and corruption in this county for three counties our size. This mess needs to be cleaned up.

Watch what happens next. Diehl is going to sue the county and win because they didn't cross the i's and dot the t's. We will all be paying for this for a long time.

No more free meals at Montague inn. The Lucas Diehl connection has collapsed. Rick will have to look for a new crony. And Bush didn`t dare vote no. Guess he got the message when he was voted out for chairman.

Better keep your ears open...heard that there was a tie in the voting, going to be a special meeting on Friday. He isn't gone yet...and I also "heard" that there was no confusion on the billing....he knew what he was doing when he did it. Just ask the company he got the stone from.
