Kenny Youngs, long time DJ on The moose passed away Saturday morning at Sunset Nursing Home. His obit is posted at . Our communities have lost a great man!

as you can see the above mentioned post has been deleted and so has one that was made on Boonville forum by the same person. It takes very little time to remove an inappropriate post, so If they are rude and offensive they can be removed asap. thank you.

For years, you couldn't go into a barn in the county during the day and not hear Kenny talking about the meal he'd had and the company he'd shared the night before.

I lisiten to kenny every day.the music he played from polkas to square dances your just not gonna hear it on any other station.He was a happy man loved his chidren,grand kids and his wife also all the friends he knew.We are gonna miss kenny,rest in peace.

I remember when Minnie Robbins from Martinsburg would call up the radio station and I think sing or play music on there with Kenny. That's was many moons ago. she's been gone awhile too. RIP

I will often remember the jamboree on the moose. Kenny was a well liked man. His simple town ways were a comfort to the sometimes crappy days here in lowville...Rest In Peace kenny.
