The sad thing is that when it comes to some school supplies a parent doesn't have a choice but to go to Wal-mart or Kmart. Doolar General or Family Dollar doesn't carry some of what kids have to have. I wish we did have a Target here in Paducah. The person can say whatever they want about them being a supporter of the queer agenda but Target is also a supporter of schools, veteran organizations and military organizations!!

I also know that a manager could possibly open more lines so people don't have to wait. Yes, I jnow they have a set numberi of people to work but I bet the manager could work a cash register if they had too. I will tell you this much if I had unloaded a grocery cart dull like the purplelady had and was told after I did that the aisle was closing, I would go off also. The proper thing would have been to say something before a cart got unloaded.

yes i agree but the cashier is damed if they do and damed if tey dont, if they talk they are slow if they get you in and get you out and dont talk people complain that they are rude and stuck up, all im saying is until you know the whole truth about what they are dealing with dont be so quick to judge. those people work very hard and very rarely do they get someone who will even aknowledge they are human, do unto others as you would have done to you.somthing to think about next time you want to be big and bad to someone thts just trying to feed there family.

Anytime I get to the checkout and the 3 open lanes are backed up I push my cart in front of the idiot with the walkie talkie and leave it there, perishable items and all. The look of pure hatred they give me makes my day.

This is the GM. I will run this place however I see fit. Take your smart asses back to your trailer and stfu. If I find out who leaves ice cream in carts in the aisles, I will deal with you personally in the back of the store. Dont fuck with me.

I agree that leaving stuff in the aisles are rude and I understand the cashiers have a job to do and dealing with rude people is probably hard but that does not entitle them to carry on a full fledge conversation with one of their friends while there is a line full of people. If you want to talk to your friends then do it when you get off work or on break but don't hold a line full of people up since there is only about 3 lines open.

Dave wrote: I've been across the country with my job. I've been to some terrible cities, and to some terrible Walmarts. Prior to moving here, the worst Walmart I had ever been to was in South Central LA, a place called Torrance, CA. Service was slow, it took 20 minutes to get through a line. Inventory was garbage. But the Walmart on Hinkleville Road is the worst Walmart I've been to in the entire country. On any given day, the idiots there have the entrance to the store (after you have passed through the automatic doors) blocked by carts. If you manage to get through the cart barricade, and somehow get a cart, the next obstacle is people having family reunions in the isles. Of course they will have their carts side-by-side, blocking the isle. Then there are all the kids. Four and five year olds walking backwards obliviously into the path of my cart. Jesus Christ I just came here for a loaf of bread and some milk, not to go through a cart obstacle course. Then there are the poor, extremely overworked cashiers. Why in the hell don't they open up more lanes? It's not like Walmart is paying some extravagant amount of money to their cashiers. Have every single lane open. But sometimes the cashiers and a customer will get into some long winded conversation. Neither of them must not have shit to do. I've been to Walmarts twice as crowded as this one and have gotten in and out faster. The mindset here is just different. There is no efficiency. I was told told by a friend that lives in l.a. That there are no walmarts in the city of l.a.

I avoid Walmart at all costs, unless I have to go there for something. It's a chore to buy anything, plus you get to deal with all the ignorant people. I've started shopping at Kroger, and their prices are better than Walmart. I've noticed that most stores around here don't have many checkout stands open, maybe they all need to hire more workers. Sams is terrible with their lines, I cannot believe I pay to shop at that place. I might not renew my membership because they obviously don't care about their customers.
