Doing good for a Tuesday........lol!!!

The grandchild is on minimum days at school for the rest of the week........the first trimester is done and it is report card time!!!

It's not always their favorite time either and this is the first time they we be getting letter grades instead of V's and S's.......or numbers........I'm not looking for perfection.......just that there is effort...in other words nothing below C's is acceptable!!!

Gotta tell ya, that whole Gen. Petraeus scandal doesn’t sit well with me. I keep getting this feeling that he was setup because everything was just too convenient. Nothing is mentioned as to who is funding this book the mistress is writing. The other thing is that this type of sexual baiting setup was also used by the soviets during the Cold War for intel. Interesting that a good looking young chic shows up out of nowhere, who was in the military herself, and “voila” just happens to decide to write a book about Gen. Petraeus in the middle of a desert war with this lonely man who hasn’t seen his wife in many months. This whole thing smells of setup to me. The question is by who and why??????????

Yeah, I had 3 kids and they were all different. One was a disaster in school. The other got straight A's and the youngest was a B and C student. The great thing is, they all turned out really well.

It probably is, and that's really a shame considering some see it as a way to keep what supposedly happen in Libya quiet.

Yes, we hold education at a high standard for our grandchild........but feel it is in their best interest, but not so high as to be outside of their ability!!!!

I'm a firm believer in kids being well rounded. As someone told me years ago, most education only teaches you how to act like what you want to be.

True, I believe school teaches us how to behavior in society as a whole......but then, I knew some kids who never did learn that lesson!!!
