The beacon should show pictures of every person who was arrested for a felony in Akron.

Then we can target the crooks better. Nothing better than the public pointing the fingers to police as to who what & where criminals are.

Summerville should join this effort and stop protecting the hoodlums in Akron

I have totally disconnected myself from Pierre. I WAS his sister, until he stole everything that I own from me, and my daughter. I moved back to Akron from Atlanta Ga, and rather than put my belongings in storage, I intrusted them to Pierre. He stored them in his large unfinished basement, and I paid HIM a storage fee. I did not know that he was a crack head , until I went into Abbie Anns, on Cuyahoga Falls, Ave. I was on an exercise bicycle , trying it out, and I happened to glace at the wall. I was SO shocked to see one of my expensive art pieces there.I asked the owner, who lied and told me that he had gotten it from an estate sale. When I re-visted the store, I noticed more of my belongings, and the owner then told me that Pierre had been coming in for MONTHS, selling my belongings. I have worked for everything that I had once owned, since the age of 15.
I had a vast collection of LLadro, China, art pieces, clothing, furniture....I would imagine the total value of it all was worth $5o,ooo.00.
I wrote a letter to the presiding judge, and I contacted the police. No one did a thing.
I have watched him destroy my family.
It is hurtful for my parents to watch him steal from the neighbors, and beg for money. He has NO running water, electricity, or heat.
He was raised in a family with 4 other siblings. He is the only one who has the idea that the world owes him.....
I am so upset that he has gotten away with these crimes. There is NO justice in Akron

Carole, your family claims to be such good Christians and yet I feel you're just a bunch of "hypocrites." What Pierre did was wrong, but anyone on drugs has and illness. Try to find it in your heart to forgive. That's what Jesus was all about! Pierre will always be your brother. Where's the love at? Your possessions can be replaced. You act as though you would have rather lost Pierre. Your family needs to do some serious soul searching!

You have NO idea HOW much I have helped ALL of my siblings...ESPECIALLY PIERRE.
I have gone without, just so that I could assist him.
I am NOT responsible for Pierre, as he is a grown ass man.
He MADE the choice to become a crack head...it was not forced upon him.
I have a child to raise, and I have to start over.
Pierre took me back to ground zero.
I have offered to get him DRUG rehab, and he has REFUSED
It is easy for you to sit where you are, and offer absolutely NOTHING but stupidity.
What became very obvious to me is this: You are no stranger to the situation, and I KNOW WHO you are, just by what you have written!
BEFOE you throw any more stones, try telling your IN-LAWS about the child that you are hiding under a bushel for 16 YEARS!!!!!

And you, with your sanctimonious self, were the ONE person who KNEW about the drug use BEFORE anyone else...
YOU could AND should have HELPED him ....Instead, you chose to sit idle, and do nothing.

I find it funny that with the other comments that have been posted...mine was the only one that rattled your cage.

sound to me like someone needs prayer. drugs are a very bad thing and any one who beets them should be comended. did you forgive your brother and did he ask you to?. it's funny that the ones who will not forgive are the first one in line to ask for it.every one lives in a glass house so who will throw the first stone? sounds to me like god needs to rattle your cage.try the shoe on your foot. if you sold your brother's stuff and you were the one on that mess would he forgive you. my bet is yep. id bet your brother would die for you. even after all the nasty crap you put out about him. one day you will need him and id bet he would be there for you. pray for your brother. sounds to me like he's praying for you.i dont know you and i wish you no bad. but the lord should rattle your cage and release you from it. i would think that pwatt is your brother and he said, pray for my sister.sound like he's going to be alright to me. what about you? bet that rattled your cage.
