Lowell commission responds to Tsongas Arena critique

The Arena Commission began diving into the $25,000 operational audit of the Tsongas Arena yesterday afternoon with representatives from PA Sports, the consulting firm contracted by the commission to explore ways to close the facility's annual $1 million deficit.

Has anyone discussed renovating or expanding the Arena? It seems to me that if it had a greater seating capacity, it could attract more lucrative concerts, and better compete with the Verizon Center in Manchester.
