i'm glad no one was killed and with the way the roads have been lately, it is not a surprise the young man had trouble stopping.

No one seems to know how to drive in this weather.Slow down, turn your lights on and clean the snow off your cars.

Better yet don't drive unless you have to.. Trips to the do not count as having to.

No good deed goes unpunished. Let the professional with warning lights do the towing.

I thought 19 year olds were adults. Did something change?
You're probably right. 19 years can't handle a plow. In fact, I doubt they could handle dying in Iraq either...
I suggest you take your ageism somewhere else.

Thanks, BJE; GRThomas... I'm not sure I'd have been able to operate my vehicle without your guidance. It's ironic that your complaints are both statements against– and representing– the entire problem: people not thinking.

Yeah, going to fast for conditions. Seems like a common deal with snow plow drivers, gotta get to the next driveway and make that loot.

I don't feel sorry for anyone hurt when its' their own fault.

Best wishes to the two people who this IDIOT hit.

I left out the word mall. I agree people do not think or care. I was out yesterday and I had some A Hole right on my bumper most of the way. I so wanted to hit my breaks. But anyway it is the season for greed, speed, and for many that is not thinking baout thier fellow man. Like GR Pete says "Peace on earth and goodwill towards man" NOT

SO are you saying that there should be an age for a person to drive plow truck? Let's make it 21 to drive, drink, work, have sex, and move out of mom and dad's. Oh and join the militay, It a good idea to put a 19 year old in a tank, a jeep, or a humvee.

I kinda agree with mi hunter. The thing with only being 19 is not that many years with driving in the conditions we are in. It is different to have someone plowing that has years of experience. You are right about the age of the military, but it is different when you have the driving experience under your belt.

That is a bad stretch of road regardless in the winter. There are cars in the ditch there every year. Also not the best area for someone to be pulling someone out because it is hard to get around people. Not saying that the guys helping were doing anything wrong but that is a dangerous curve. Hope they are alright.

what I was trying to say is that nobody said the kid was flying everyone is so quick to blame people. The roads are horrible and Lowell roads are not exactly a priority in the winter. We have a good 5 inches on the main roads that haven't been plowed. Just came off lincoln lake and it has not been touched.

Lincoln Lake is bad under the best weather conditions. No amount of experience can prepare you for being startled...coming over a hill and seeing a couple of vehicles and people on the side of the road would startle most humans. Maybe he just hit the binders a little too hard...its that darn human nature thing. At least this young chap is WORKING!!!!
