This is just another reason that dea thugs need to be reined in! These people have done nothing illegal but dea thugs want to steal their property anyway! What a country! I hope this man wins his court case. If I were him I would insist on a jury trial. Out of 12 people there has to be at least one that still believes in the bill of rights!

Altough I dont agree with the governments tactics in this case, and it is a shame that it is happening, the Motel Caswell is a bed of crime, not just drug arrests either... Tewksbury would be WAY better of without this den of iniquity, but they need to get rid of it legally...

Its not the building that causes the problem, its the people who go there.
You cant to anything about the problem that these guests cause without doing something about the guests themselves.

You need to read the comments in the other two threads whose links are posted above. If you close down the Caswell, these criminals will simply move across the street or to another local area. The people of Tewksbury cant solve the problem of their drug addicted children by trying to send them to another neighborhood.

The question was asked in the other forum, and I will ask it again here: If the Caswell is closed and these drug addicts simply move to another local business, will the police also get to take that one? And how about the next one? At what point do the Tewksbury Police have to stop stealing local businesses and address the issue of criminals?
