Hhhmmm,

Lot's of unhappy Taxachusetts people here.

NH is one of the safest states as well. Ever notice, you do NOT see "old cops" on the beat in NH. Retirement after 20 years of service and reached the age of 45. No old bald fat guys in foot pursuit after the bad guys. No brag, just fact!

New Hampshire is a great place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there.

So because of the actions of some bikers and a few cops (or was the whole police force there?)you have determined that that NH is "one of most racist states" that you have ever been to? Were the witnesses racist as well?

My point is that you are stereotyping all of NH based on your one experience. That is the same reason why the bikers and the cops don't like you. You don't like it so why do you do the same to NH?

How True, how true - Massachusetts is ruining NH. All these corrupt Massholes immigrating to NH are spoiling this jewel. They leave MA because of the high taxes, and insane pace, then they bring their distorted ideas with them to NH. This is evidenced by the democratic "leadership" now.

It's amazing how a survey about a city being great.. causes so much controversy. The State is what the people living there make it. Nice Job NH keep up the good work.

You're right, and NH people leave their state because they can't find a decent paying job in Redneck Country...

Whoa Whoa Whoa... a six bedroom cottage at Hampton for 1200 bucks for the month?!?!?!? Try 1200 for a week lady...

And as for NH being the best place to live?? Negative... lived in Exeter for 4 years. Place sux. Just to get anywhere you have to drive at least 20 minutes... It's the boonies, it's loaded with white trash (esp. being so close to Seabrook). In my opinion, city life is more appealing. I'm not a country bumpkin by any means. The seacoast is beautiful scenary but that's it... the natives are white trash and the others have just migrated to NH from MA. Pelham sux... another white trash town where the natives are inbreds and the others again have migrated from MA.

Oh really? And the massholes cannot afford to shop in masshole land, thus they clutter up NH?
With rising cost of gas, shopping in NH doesn't really make sense anymore.

But, that just goes to show you that NH is dependent on MA...

You people come to our state, take our jobs and then urge us to go to your state to purchase items and then you complain about us calling us massholes

Once again, NH, you're showing your arse!

I haven't lived there but with so many Mass people moving there it must have some appeal. One of the attractive things to me would be the government. They pay their legislators $200/year for 2 weeks service--citizen legislators not career lay abouts. That all by itself speaks well of the state. And by the way to those critisizing their schools, the average SAT is higher there than Mass.

Huh? I'm from MA - all the exquisite MA educational institutions didn't help your reading comprehension? You confused yourself!

I'm smart enough to realize what a cesspool MA is. I grew up in Europe with socialism, and am capable of seeing MA for what it is.

Looking forward to leaving this place in the rear view mirror permanently. By the way this is evidenced by statistics that proof how MA population is shrinking.

Even with the outstanding universities, once graduated, the graduates cannot afford to stay here and take their talents to greener pastures (maybe the New Hampshire Hinterlands?)
