Four times the tragedy

Four times the tragedy

There are 24 comments on the Lowell Sun story from Sep 14, 2010, titled Four times the tragedy. In it, Lowell Sun reports that:

It was totally unlike Alex DeFreitas to not show up for work, and not call. The 25-year-old Londonderry resident was the most polite, respectful and industrious employee imaginable, said Sergio and Susie Silva, co-owners of S&S Auto Repair on Charles Street in Lowell, where DeFreitas had worked as a mechanic since last fall.

What a terrible loss for all affected. These young men were obviously very loved and respected by all that knew them. For the sake of the family and friends, I hope that they discover what happened that night.

Such a shame! Similar to the accident in FLA where the 4 men from MA were on vacation at Disney and went off the road into a lake. They did not find them for 6 months or more. A terrible tragedy either way. At least these boys' families can begin the healing process right away.

Does anyone know the exact location? I drive that stretch almost every week.

Yeah, instantly, now, it's all better.

Except for one thing, the lawsuits. Yeah, you forgot about that one.

Everybody just please drive carefully.

Every tragic accident lately did not have to happen. There has been so much of this in The Sun in recent days. I don't know if it was drinking and driving or merely speeding but I am betting that this accident did not have to happen and we now have four more families and many more friends broken hearted. It isn't our cars and it isn't the roadways it is how we drive and too many are killing themselves while behind the wheel.

Please everyone just drive carefully.

Prayers to all the families.
