why would someone drive 100 + mph in the rain on the blvd? did he have a deathwish? fighting with the female in the car with him? I wish they would take the lexus he was driving and put it at lowell high in lucy larkem park so every one will see what happens when you drive like an idiot. maybe it will make kids relize what happens. just glad he didn't hit someone else.may god bless him and his family

Mr. Andy....let me see, two people in the car...one passes away, the other in the hospital....how is it that you happen know the speed and the type of conversation taking place? Please tell me you're 12 years old and completely ignorant! Have you no heart? This poor man's family DOES NOT need to read your thoughtless, heartless comments. Do me a favor, show your mother/father what you wrote, and ask how they would feel if it were you that was in the accident and they had to see an assinine post like yours written about their son. I would be very interested to see if you post their reaction here.

My heart goes out to Charo the mother, she love's him soo much, everything she ever did was for him and his brother, and now this. I can't even believe it. She tried so hard. My prayers go out to her, and Jimmy. great mother.

Although I didn't know jimmy, It is tragic that some people think they know what happened. Alls I know is that he saved my sweet little neighbors life by making sure she wore her seat belt!!! He is a 19 year old boy who lost his life, and it was simply a tragic accident, the lights where faulty this morning due to high winds. How can you blame him!!!! something went terribly wrong that wasn't done deliberate you assholes, and who said anything about a fight, it was two kids who cared about eachother taking an early saturday ride. He saved that little girls life and lost his own in the process you ignorent people. I will pray for his family, and I will pray for the little girl who was seriously injured. How dare you people play the blame game. To Jimmy's family god be with you and comfort you through the loss of your beautiful son. God bless!!!! And please pray for the family of the passenger, that little girl has to face the unthinkable, the loss of a love, and a painfull recovery, shame on you people that think they know what happened!!!!!

faulty traffic lights?? caused him to crash into a telephone pole, so violently that the pole was laying across the road? he saved a girls life because she was wearing a seat belt?? an early morning ride? who goes for a ride at 6 am in the morning in the rain?? at 100 miles an hour? first of all he was speeding in excess of 100 miles an hour, in the rain, in the pitch black predawn, no doubt, to accomplish this accident, no question. are you retarded??
I listened to this broadcast as it was played out on my police scanner. its surreal to see it in the paper after listening to it.

I beg you to please be respectful. A family has lost their son and many many teens have lost their friend. This is not the place to get on your soap box and hurt people. Please, if you can't be supportive, stay off here. So many people are hurting right now and this fighting and throwing insults is hurting. I promise you that the teens around the driver have learned a valuable lesson. The schools will latch onto this to bring the message to younger students. But for now, please be respectful of those who have lost a great friend and son.

This Community loves to Hurt and kick people when they are in need of a hug and some compassion. Did you ever hear the saying "THAT WHEN GOD PUTS HIS HANDS ON SOMEONE WE SHOULD TAKE OURS OFF".(well I think that should include our mouths also).Only a real low-life would speak negativley about someone after they have left this earth. Other Community's would be stopping by the Family's Home Offering their Condolence to the Family and asking if they could do anything to help ease the burden of the loss of a son. Only In Lovely Lowell Massachusetts would this Inhumane Gossip type column exist. Sympathy to all Who Loved Jimmy. And may he Rest in Peace.

I am Jimmy's aunt. How dare you make such assumptions! Were you there??? My nephew DIED in this accident. He was 19 years old and loved life. He certainly did not have a "deathwish". You are a horrible person to make such remarks and disrespect my nephew and our family! SHAME ON YOU!
