C'mon huh Bill, we have all opened our arms to equality, we left that old "Belonging in the kitchen" phase back in the early 60's.

I am in Thailand. I meet plenty of guys here who come for holidays. They all want to hook up with a bar girl here. I dumped my lazy wife for one last year.
Whats a Bar Girl you might ask?
Its usually a Thai Lady who hangs around a bar waiting for a Westerner to come along and take them away for a week or more for a good time..if you like them you might be able to hitch up permanently.
They charge around $30 a day for services, can cook, are not so interested in TV, great lovers and are reallyb nice natured.
I found it difficult to work out what was the difference between a bar girl and my wife? The only thing I can think of was a peice of paper saying I was married..Otehrwise there seems no difference between a hooker and my ex wife..they only hung around for the money..

One difference that is clear is this bar girl is on your payroll as hired help and the relationship is purely business. What you are doing is paying hooker to be your servant. It's apparent that you do not have any inner feelings towards a partner/wife/worker or whatever you want to call this person you employ, you just want a body there to meet your needs without any feelings towards the hired body. You should seek professional counciling.

My wife holds down a full time job and then comes home and cooks a meal for me and the three children. She also does 90% of the washing, cleaning and ironing (the other 10% done by the hired hand). Don't get me wrong, I help out wherever possible but must admit, She's pretty damned good. Guess I'm the lucky one :-)

My wife has been out of work since the company she worked for let her go. We met at this company and when they found out she was pregnant they let her go. The company was closing the doors anyways, so it is what it is. However, we agreed that after our daughter was born she would start working as soon as she started kindergarden; my daugher is 7yrs old now and my wife still is not working. Oh, by the way, She has 2 other kids by 2 other men and has been married 2 other times. but, boy is she stuck on the freaking facebook all the freaking time. i wouldn't mind it if she would do something with her life. I am extremely worried because when I recieve my bachelors degree the student loans are going to be due and all my money is going to go to that. Oh well, she has her child support card; I guess we'll just get divorced to and I'll be another sucker just paying another woman to sit at home a collect.

I need honest criticism that isn't bashing, k guys?

To give a bit of background: met my husband through work 6yrs ago. He was in managment and had child support to pay, so I quit before the co could find out and fire him. I provided him the home, I had a decent savings account and was almost finished with a bachelor degree. I didn't cook well (still don't), I love cleanliness and I do yard work and house repairs as well as any man. I brought what I thought was a decent amount to the table (not to mention, I am attractive).

I got a respectable job and was let go due to down-sizing (beginning of recession). Since then I have held several jobs but only one part time job (weekends) has stuck. My degrees are finished and I've put in countless resumes and have received no call-backs. I did start up my own business a few months ago which hasn't gotten me anywhere but has drained the savings. Btw, he doesn't save.. I do! At all costs!! I will go hungry just to save.

Since I couldn't find a full-time job (before starting the business), I started my masters and took out a small student loan to carry the business for awhile.

Here's my delima: My husband is stressed because he doesn't have toys, cannot afford much and is working 12hr days. He says that I don't cook, I don't clean, I don't do anything.

The truth: I don't cook well and when I do it seems he doesn't like it or it's a drinking night so the food goes cold. So I nearly never cook..why put forth the effort? I do clean but keeping up with the entire house and lawn by myself is alot and gets monotomous. He doesn't help but adds to the problem..again.. sometimes I feel as though no matter how much I DO do, I can't keep up. I do have lazy days and more often than not I have networking days and homework days.
Re sex: ugh.. what a stinking chore and I don't know how to get past that thinking. No lie, the only time the man touches me is when he's in the mood...which doesn't help my "mood" at all.
Re recreational time: he's a tv person so I try to watch tv with him although we don't enjoy the same programming. He likes to drink and if I do drink, I fall asleep. He likes football, so I've gotten him season tickets and we go to games. I watch the people, he watches the game. I enjoy 'doing'.. something, anything.. and he doesn't.. so we don't.

I'd appreciate your thoughts and opinions. Offer constructive criticism..

So I was actually looking for a forum like this for some advice. So basically this is my story (btw I am not a housewife nor a husband I'm just the daughter). So basically I am attending a community college right now, working like crazy to pay for school, and also have three jobs. My father quit working when I was in high school and my mom works about 60 hours a week. Seeing him sit all day and do nothing drives me insane. I hate hearing my parents fight but there's nothing I can do. I have a 2.0 right now in college because I can't stay home and help my mom, and work (she doesn't get paid enough to support my school) and do well in school. Like, I can't do it. I have begged and cried and pleaded for my dad to get/find a job. he won't leave the house. all he does is watch tv, eat, and hide in his room all day every day. Then, every night I heard my mom shouting at him and begging and then secretely crying in her room. Please PLEASE how do I help my family and also succeed in school? I study so much and I work so much and I'm always busy and tired and I still can't make enough money to pay for my books and I can't get a passing grade. Please help me and help my little brother- what do we do? I want my family to be happy but we don't have enough money, we haven't had health insurance for years and my dad won't get his ass off the couch. Any advice? thanks:(

You sound like quite the whining crybaby. Taxpayers all over this country are supporting the children of men who won't work and pay child support for their own kids. Then there's the women who work a full time job just like the husband but when they both get home the hubby drops his ass into a chair to watch TV and the woman cooks, does laundry and takes care of the kids. In most cases women have a lot more responsibility than the men, so maybe you should dry your eyes and stfu.

The stone age days when women needed to be good cooks are long over. Many women work full time jobs just like the men and it's not uncommon for the wife to make more money these days. You men want to eat? Then get your beer bellies up to the stove and cook a meal. Want clean clothes? Then don't be shy about doing some laundry. Some of you men seem to think you married your mothers. Such whiny babies..."oh cook for me clean for me feed me!" How pathetic. Grow up boys.
