Police seeking suspect in beating of Lowell woman

Her jaw and wrist were fractured. Her nose was broken. She needed seven stitches in her head and is still covered in black and blue marks three days after an acquaintance allegedly viciously beat her in front of her children.

So he is well-known to police (meaning they must have a mug shot), and they release this story to garner local attention so they can hopefully get a tip to capture this rat, yet there is no picture on the front page of the newspaper or on the website?

Someone help me to understand this.
