You mean they're not? I can't believe that educated people like our reps could screw this country up so bad if they weren't on something.

from a libertarian point of view, a law against MJ serves no identifiable purpose. It seems to placate politicians who call it a 'gateway' drug. I see alcohol and tobacco as way more pernicious.

When I was a young teen friends were drinking Robitussin cough syrup by the bottle, it was laced with codine then, hallucinations. Paragoric was also very popular. One or two little bottles of this stuff and you could see God, and he wasn't happy. An lot of those kids are dead now. People that do drugs have a deeper problem. They are trying to escape from pain whether it be pysical or mental. No one abuses themself that way if everything is fine.

Benji is a special case. This is a nation of laws and it's either legal or illegal. I don't care if you use it. If you are an adlut it's your choice. Just don't use it thinking it won't hurt you.
I understand your perspective. But when you look at the prohibition of alcohol, it just made drinkers criminals. Humans are not instinctively driven by the law, they are driven by what feels good and right to them. Too many lives and tax dollars are wasted on a non-violent offense such as possession or the sale of pot. I'm all for regulating it like alcohol though

I understand someone not wanting to smoke grass. I understand not wanting your loved ones to smoke grass, especially your children, or any under age kid. OK fine. But what I find utterly amazing is that a single person would think an adult smoking a dubie in their own house should be criminally prosecuted. That's just crazy. It's a waste of tax money. Tax weed, regulate weed, and let people be be pot heads if so desire.

Bong hits are way safer than smoking joints, also a Vaporizer is the safest way to go. I agree pot should be 18+, not 21 because I dont think that any teen who has the right to go to adult jail cannot handle an adult product. They can buy sex toys but not booze. Ya know.

The violence making pot legal would end would be worth it. The tax alone would be worth it. The studies show that making something legal would make it an upward trend for about a year or two then drastically drop off.

Also with legalized marijuana you would be able to regulate everything about it.

I never heard of a stoner taking a hit then beating his wife for not making dinner, it makes your mellow not violent.
And no you should drive on it.

an addict is an addict regardless of the what they are using. if one is good, fifty is better. if they can get high they will, if they can escape they will. marijuana doesnt have that much power. people who are gonna go do coke are gonna do it, etc etc. you cannot control human behavior. just make it safer for everyone

Okay, we know that cigs are bad for you. Yes, I smoke. But who would be the better driver? My driving after having a few cigs., or the person who is clearly high? Enough said.

if you've read any pro-argument for the legalization we have all agreed that driving while high is out of the question and personal use indoors at your private home should be acceptable. drinking is legal but you cant drive correct? so if pot is legal you shouldn't be able to smoke and drive either. duh

You "think"?? C'mon, you must have a better joke than that. What little gray matter you did have is most likely cooked by now, so I guess you're excused.
