This man was the victim of a crime. The police in their wisdom has decided to victimize him a second time. You don't have to like guns to understand the 2 fold crime that's occurred.

Some people are gun enthusiasts and have lots of different types of guns. There is nothing wrong with having 40 guns.

There are pistol teams and Trap Shooting teams all around the Merrimack Valley. There are also long range shooting ranges. It is easy to acquire 40 guns over the course of one's life if you are really into it.

I don't know the person that had the guns stolen from him so I cant say why they had them.
