Good thing Dunstable PD has the State Police involved (protocol anyway).

All they are good at is writing speeding tickets.

And with an out of town agency handling the investigation, the DPD (DunkinDonuts Police Dept) won't be able cover this up.

I hope the Mother and children recover. This is a tragic accident.

Maybe Dunstable can ask Pepperell to come install sidewalks for them too as they do everything else for that town!

Please....Dunstable gets the same training (if not more) than many other depts. Most municipal depts use the state to investigate serious accidents. When you have a department with over 2000 officers you can afford to pay someone as a specialist. What does Pepperell do for Dunstable?

I'm from Dunstable and I'm proud of our Police Department. I can not beleave that someone could wright such a comment given the circumstances. A family was plowed down by a car and you type in a nasty comment like this. All I can say is that you are spineless and a coward. Type back with your name and plate number on your car. Then again I'm sure you already got a ticket with an attitude like yours. DPD if you are reading this please keep this scum out of our town. We do not want this type of person in our town!!!!!! JUST NASTY NASTY NASTY :( All I can do is pray for the mother and her kids.

Dear Capt Picard,

So, if what your saying it true, how many Donuts can you eat in a minute?:)

My name is Homer Simpson. MA plate DOH!

Hey, all I'm saying is I want this family that got hit to have a fair and just investigation. The DunkinDonuts police would screw it up in my opinion and they would lose out for this unfortunate accident. Especailly since it is two Dunstable families involved.

I guess you forgot about that little incident when the good old boys from Mass Corrections and Reading Police decided to shoot through the neighbors house and it got covered up until someone dropped a dime on it....

Yea, keep up the good work and and be proud of them. They probably pull your tickets or don't give them to you because you are a high and mighty resident of Unstable.

The DPD is an unaccredited PD! They have one good cop, Officer Lynn, other than that, forget about it!! These cops have absolutely NOTHING going on, but to sit and watch for speeders. And that creates boredom, which causes these cops to fabricate issues just for something to do!! Why.? When something REAL does happen, does the DPD fail the community??

"SCUM" LOL OK you just wait til you make a mistake some day and see how you feel. This woman was not intentionally aiming at the boy! You fool!! It was not some premeditated accident. So quit it with the assumptions. I could see if it was malicious or intentional but jeez!! You are a typical Dunstable backward resident for sure!!

Hey "Typical" I didn't know that Groton and Dunstable have some kind of rivalty!! We have a regionalized school system etc, so what divide are you speaking of??
P.S. Just because my IP records "Groton" as a location, does not necessarily mean it is accurate. Yours says Pepperell.... when I log into my computer at work, it says NEW YORK... obviously I do not work in NY and commute there daily LOL........ THINK ABOUT IT! You seem very tight-wound!!!!!!!!!! Relax, life is too short.

You were the one who started bashing Dunstable over a car accident caused by an obviously careless driver. And I know how the message board works, I do not need a lesson from you.

My niece, who is in the same twins group as Nora, says she and the babies are doing ok. Jack is to go home today...and the twins soon. Just keep praying for them & for the lady who hit them...we don't know the reasoning, etc. So many things could have been the cause... and I know how awful I would feel, had I been the driver...just keep them all in your prayers/thoughts.

Dunstable PD receives the exact same academy training as every other town in the state. The only difference is they actually KNOW the residents, and rule with instinct & common sense.
Dunstable is lucky to have a Chief & officers that are able to recognize a strange car in a neighborhood, or parking lot, and take the time to check it out. Dunkin Donuts is also the ONLY store & gas station in town. What better place for the police to get to know the people in the town they protect. Dunstable Officers actually CARE about their town. How many towns have their Police force say hello and call the residents by name? I'm sad & jealous that I'm no longer a resident. Keep up the great work guys... YOUR town appreciates all that you do for them!

All I know is that Dunstable is the saddest PD I've ever met...

Driver gets pulled over cause someone called into the station bitching about a driver they dont like, clearly they knew a cop since they had to call the stations # instead of 911 what do you all just call to ask how they are doing?

so a cop comes pulls the car over. now look a second cop car... oh look and unmarked cop car SWEET all the cops on duty have to come to handle a couple teenagers who aren't causing any trouble? wow tough guys...oh and then lets not forget the first cop saying get out of the car and call your brother...the kid gets out of the car and the second cop pulls out his gun and yells to get back in the car...All i can say is if my friend actually got shot you'd view your safe little town differently...

All I can say is I'm from Pepperell...but By far Groton PD is the best all cause of Irm, then Pepperell and last Dunstable, I don't think I ever see them doing radar by themselves both cops on duty are always sitting together chatting it up.

They act like this because N O T H I N G ever happens in Dunstable! So when someone is pulled over, it is like MAJOR ACTION and they all gotta respond to the call and react like it's a drug deal gone bad, when in all probability, it is a mom and her kids, driving maybe 5 MPH over the speed limit (25 MPH, which is pathetically slow) heading through Dunstable to the Mall or something! They are just hurting for something to do!
Anyone remember, a few years back, there were like 2 spraypainted words & the DPD were all over it saying it was gang-related tagging from Nashua LOL!!!!!!!!!! Give it up!
