It should be an interesting election season in Middlesex county. It is about time we have this many people to choose from to represent us. Now, if we can only pick the best person for the job and put aside partisan politics.

Wow, we have a republican challenger who lives right in the heart of the guilt belt, amongst the beautiful people of Carlisle. I find this refreshing to have so many willing challengers, however this list of no names needs to be reduced fast to get a serious contender. If this does not happen ms. Tsongas gets another two years.

Whoever Nikki's leading challenger shakes out to be, you can bet I will contribute money to their campaign. I encourage all of you to do the same.

You got it, Mink....a little dough in the cup of the challenger will go a long way to getting rid of this piece of Progressive trash.

she should of hear what we the people were asking for that voted her in. Anyone that doesn't hear what we the people have to say needs to be taken out of office. She is only the begining of what we the peole need to do.

She went to the Senior Center today and answered a few questions to an angry group and left. I guess she felt that they wouldn't mind her selling them out. Sorry Nikki.

At the Chelmsford Town Hall meeting last August, Niki, the people made it crystal clear to you that we didn't want our health care taken over by the Federal Government. However you chose not to hear a single word we said.

At the Chelmsford Senior Center this morning you heard exactly the same thing from your elderly constituents. But according to today's news story www.lowellsun.com/breakingnews/ci_14778502 ... "She's a good gal to show up," said Richard Codling, 79, of Chelmsford. "But she really filibustered us so we didn't get to ask many questions."

So once again, Niki, you simply turn a stone-deaf ear to the very people whom you expect to re-elect you to office. Well, Niki, since you've absolutely refused to listen to a single word we've said to you there is only one option left to us - and that is to SHOUT IT RIGHT IN YOUR DAMN EAR IN NOVEMBER. Do you think that might improve your hearing?

Vote all the incumbent politicians out...Democrats and Republicans alike...and lets start from scratch...that would send a clear message across the board.

Tsongas doesn't have a clue about living the real life or the struggles. She is as out of touch as 90% of those in Congress. She has a Cadillac health care plan. They can't even eat their own dog food of a bill, but want us to devour it sight unseen. That ought to tell you something about their health-care bill. Will they be taxed on their health-care plan? I bet I can guess that answer already.

Be honest she ran based on her last name not because of qualifications. These communists force this obscene law down our throats yet ensure their exempt. This was a money grab just like banks and the auto industry. They spend nights dreaming ways to steal money from those who work to give to those who don't. It's the only way they know how to enroll their party.

Clinton was the first to use this tactic, Gore's job the first term was to fast track as many illegals, register them as democrat/communist and vote for Bill.

Obama's next trick will be to provide amnesty for all of these illegals and generate votes for he and the other Marxists.

So the field in the 5th Congressional District will narrow down to 5 Republican and 4 righty Independent opponents for Nikki Tsongas. There will be so much infighting among them about who is the most conservative Tea Party candidate (all wanting to be the next Scott Brown) that they will end up being a joke. I am so looking forward to these mid-term elections watching Sara Palin running around the country in her leather bomber jacket and 7 inch spike heels bringing busloads of the same people into State after State claiming that they are going to punish Democrats for the now becoming very popular Health Care bill. By November, the bill's favorability will be in the 60th percentile and Republicans will be circling the drain. The silent majority says, Bring It On!

Niki, You betrayed the good citizens of this district. Your like Obama who thinks we can not decide what's good for us and what is not good for US.

Shame on you Niki...

Don't worry, there will be more than enough "wanna be Scott Browns" coming out on the Republican side for that election, too. Another laugh election. All those Repubs smashing away at the Democrat candidate and in the end eating themselves alive. Bring it on!!

The article is way of base as the writer apparently did not research all of the candidates prior to writing it. The instance we bring to the authors attention is Dale E. Brown from North Chelmsford. He is definitely not a Republican. All political sites list him correctly as an Independent, as does his own. He is registered as un-enrolled and has no political affiliations. He is a true conservative.

A true conservative is a very limited government advocate. The last President that believed that government is the problem, not the solution was Reagan. Newt Gingrich is a true conservative and Ron Paul is the last serving true conservative. There are several that try hard or would like you to think that they are. We think that Dale is the only one that we’ve heard of in Massachusetts.

There is very little difference between todays Republicans and Democrats. The Republicans in general lost their souls after Reagan. Gingrich tried to save them in the late 90s when he was able to reign in Clinton and bring him back towards the center. They have not been true to their values since then. Both parties have been growing the government and spending uncontrollably The fate of this country depends on reigning in the government spending and severely limiting the size of government.

Dale actually considers himself as a Jefferson Democratic-Republican who actually favors the founders idea of sovereign states held together loosely with the Constitution.

We reiterate that he is an Independent with no party affiliation to mandate his views. He will be on the ballot in November no matter who the Republicans and Democrats send against him.
