You know, most of you people never like idea of something positive benefiting another race than your own. I'm sorry the schools have a lack of funding and poor little Jimmy doesn't have a park at his school but maybe if you took the initiative to ask the school board or propose your idea to the school or city maybe they would listen. If you want a park at your son's school maybe you get involved more instead of complaining on a forum board. I also love that just because they're Cambodian, automatically you think they're illegal, they live off welfare, they're gangsters, they have no jobs, etc. Well maybe the city is putting lights in because most of them work during the day and would like to play late into the evening after work? Just because they run on a different schedule from you that makes them bad? Just because they don't have dinner around 6 or 7 PM like you that makes them not worth you the city's time and money? And no, most of the drug dealers are dealing at Hadley Park and behind school playgrounds, thats where most of the gullible kids are.

If we pay for your child's education, do you promise he won't turn out as ignorant as you are?

Well, good to see how my tax dollars going to education are being spent. Bryce graduate with a 1.5GPA from Kindergarten and is now excelling in every spelling contest in the 1st grade for special education students. He will be awarded his helmet today at a special ceremony in his backyard. Please there as the short yellow bus drops him off around 1:45PM tomorrow. Thank you for your support.

The problems with this park was years ago. The people now have more culture and traditional differences.Gang will always be an issue to the ignorants who love to throw it up when this is about a communtiy coming together. Oh wait they don't like that.

WE CAN TAKE CARE OF OUR OWN.

"common sense" has a very great point. If it's not coming out of your pockets. You shouldn have no worries.

And jealousy is a disease.

What school does your kid attending? Maybe that school doesn't have enough area to make a play ground.
They have plenty of room. The school is brand new with ample room for a playground, but the city says they don't have the funds to build one for them.

Don't come on here and complain about your child school of lacking funds. Why won't you get off your lazy **** and start a fundraiser because your sooooo concerned about the situation.
First of all *** I'm not lazy, unlike most people, I have a job. And I organize most fundraisers at our school, thanks!

if the cops are there doing community policing, they should also be there writing tickets for registration stickers, loitering, and littering. also, the police should ban all swear words at the park and be strictly enforced. Remember, parks are for the kids first. we dont want our kids growing up with potty mouths.

I totally agree with you. This is such a huge waste of money. If there is money to be spent on parks, then why don't they invest in real youth sports like baseball or basketball. who the heck plays/watches volleyball anyway????
there are so many other parks in lowell that could so much and this money will be wasted on a park that is nothing but trouble. cops always there and always just trouble..yuck!

I heard there is more $ in the federal parks budget that the Lowell Shelter on Middlesx St might be getting a park with a track in the upcoming future.
