The people on here that are angry have a good reason to be. Lets"s work on this law, mostly because it is wrong to not be covered. This just happened to my daughter and she is having a very hard time w/this same isue. Thanks, And do the right thing everybody.

Thats funny, because I never got insurance on my car as I drove it off the lot. stupid me, but no one has checked to the day, and I bought the car in march.

a friend of mine got nailed by an uninsured driver from NH some years back, totaled his car, basically the guy was a loser and lived in his moms basement and had nothing, my friend ended up eating the cost of the car as he had no recourse!

I don't think you can really distill it to a matter of New Hampshirites breaking the law because they have uninsured vehicles in Massachusetts. Insurance, in this case, applies to residents of Massachusetts with vehicles registered in the Commonwealth. Yes, people who do not have insurance are risky, but it would be ridiculous to apply lifestyle laws to people passing through a state. Should New Hampshirites also have health insurance if they're passing through on their way to Rhode Island?

I suppose Massachusetts drivers only have to have insurance because they're popularly recognized as the WORST drivers in the US. Moreover, all New Hampshire residents wish the drunken weekend bastards would stay out of our towns.

All those who think that they do not need insurance, I hope someone uninsured hits a responsible loved one of yours that does have insurance.
It is like a drunk that drives and wrecks his vehicle into your mom's car, and you yourself is a drunk as well while drives. I hope this realy never happens. Insurance is a "necessary evil". Spend the extra few bucks for a insurance company that is reputable.

J from PA wrote: <quoted text> Wow! Now I realize why they're called Massholes. I moved up to NH from PA a couple years ago and I'll tell you right now you couldn't pay me to live in Taxachussettes. I'll take dealing with a handful of "white trash" over pretentious, terrible drivers in a state who's politicians are insanely corrupt, in a state who's roads(and other infrastructure) are incredibly derelict, and a state who's laws are so contrary to the Constitution of the United States that it borders on communistic. That said, sunshine, if you want "white trash" one only has to look in your back yard of Lawrence and Lowell. I love this !!! Well said so true I live in mass but I agree with you and the last part was great; if tomorrow mass lifted obligations to carry insurance half if the people commenting would be just another NH hillbilly lol me included god people lighten up they are following the law why trash the drivers rebel against the law makers not the poor drivers ....
