Here is a testimonial from his website it made me laugh hard.....
"I was a chubby guy my whole life until I met Dicky Eklund. After meeting Dicky I was able to drop 85 pounds in 5 months."
I wonder how he was able to do that!

Dickie IS Lowell, crack and a life lesson. You can crawl into the crack pipe or live in the real world.
Lowell can and either get rid of the crack, or turn into the old Dickie.
Lots of potential..WASTED

CRS..hah maybe everyone has that since no one seems to remember or care about Dicky's involvement in Dennis Bilodeau's murder. I for one refuse to see this farce of a "redemption" story. I will not be lining the pockets of a killer! RIP Denny, gone but never forgotten.
He is a murderer!!!!!!!!!! Ask Captain John's owners

Good article, but typo in amount?:
At least it will be more than the $7,500 he earned for fighting Sugar Ray Leonard. "I got about $3,800 of it," he says, showing no signs of CRS.
Not a typo, his promoters were ripping him off too...

He got 3,800 from the 7,500 he was paid for the fight...maybe his promoters knew it would just go up his nose anyway so why not skimm off the top! Lol

I remember Dicky Ecklund fighting in the 7o's. He had a reputation as a good boxer back then long before he went pro. And he appears to be in great shape even today training fighters from what I have read. The guy deserves a lot of credit for his persaverence in over coming alot of adversity in his life !

I recently popped into the Dubliner and saw Dicky Eklund knock out some guy, maybe 2 months ago. He's a BULLY! Don't know if he knew the guy but regardless, no excuse. A Bully will always be a Bully. He missed his calling years ago when opted for the low road instead of using his talent and doing something positive with his life. His choices, his decisions. Now he is coasting high on his brothers coat tail where he belongs. His misfit mother and crazy sibblings played a huge part in that losers behavior. What a family!

After the Suagr Ray Leonard fight. The New York Times wrote an article on what a warrior Dicky was during the fight. You should resad it. From the streets of Lowell....Yo Man !

shouldnt someone facing murder charges stay away from kids at the gym? i bet my entire life savings that dicky could not pass a drug test right now. if he thinks he is the pride of lowell, i call him out right now to voluntarily take a drug test.

Maybe Dickie can rent a room at the Caswell where he spend a great deal of time in his early days. To make him out to be some kind of idol is wrong and disgusting. Didn't he rip his brother off years ago??? Nice role model!!!!!!!!!
He did and again by selling micky's rights to this movie he's a piece of shit junkie who only cares about dicky he has and always will sell out any friend or family member for his own financial gain

What does he have?1. people still give this bum the time of day like he is anybody he loves that.2. He still loves off his brothers life he loves that.3.He got a murder/vol manslaughter charge swept under a rug how i will never understand.he has alot to loose you have to have something that is yours to loose before you can loose anything, what he had to loose he lost in 80's career in boxing, family, self worth and that i feel bad for him but damn dicky grow up already live on your own and please stop acting like a great humanbeing who had it lost it and got it back since you became a crack head you only care about you butt micky will always take care of you because after all you are his bro and he is a great humanbeing which you couldve been ohh so long ago but chose not to. sad
