Sheriff committed suicide:
http://www.krqe.com/dpp/news/crime/lea-county ...
X Lovington cop charged with murdering his father:
http://www.topix.com/forum/city/lovington-nm/ ...
Then this child molestation case involves TWO LE Officers from Lea County.
I'm just wondering what sort of people are hired in Lea County.
First of all the Sheriff that you are commenting suicide that you are commenting about is my Uncle. He was a great Sheriff for Lea County and obviously you didn't know him because he was a great man. We will never know why he did what he did and no one ever expected it. You should try reading about all the good things he did before you judge him and until you do you should keep you mouth shut! As for the other LE officers I can not or will not speak for them because I do not know them. Obviously if they commited the above crimes then they should be punished for their crimes.

My Uncle was the Sheriff that killed himself and he was a great man and was a great Sheriff. Why don't you try reading all the good he did before you judge him. For example: He got a grant approved for college students that are going to take law enforcement classes, oh and he also saved a dog and paid the vet bill out of his own money. Then he also was able to raise $25,000 for the Hobbs Humane Society in his name. "Just Sayin"
I don't know what your definition of corrupt is but my Uncle does not fall under the true definition. I can't speak for the other LE officers that you are talking about because I don't know them and if they are guilty for thier crimes then they should be punished. People should really do thier research on things before they open thier mouth to comment on them.

First off I was commenting one who is was who killed his father, I have that right because I am his wife. Second I never said anything about your Uncle. It broke my heart immensly when I received the phone call. When I started here at the County he took me under his wing, you could say he was a over-protective big brother. Which was fine with me, he always knew when I was having a bad day because my phone would ring and his name would show up. I am deeply sorry for your loss.

I do apologize, I didn't realize that it was a quote you were commenting on until I looked at it again. I just get upset when people judge my Uncle and I need to read the forum better. Thank you for bringing it to my attention, I can admit when I am wrong unlike the Simply Sue person. Thanks for being part of my Uncle's life. We deeply miss him.

It's funny that you would bring up a thread that's been dormant for 11 days just to accuse someone else of stirring up issues. And by funny, I mean pathetic.
But if simplysue were to post it would be ok huh? Blah blah blah
